So glad haaland didn’t go to United. He went off today with 3 goals after coming in at 56 minutes with Dortmund down 3-1.
Been worrying about this Wolves game for a while. If we can win on Thursday I think we'll get to winter break on 76 points which is insane. City have a really tough run of games coming up, @Sheffield, FA Cup, League Cup semis vs United, @Spurs, West Ham, winter break, @Leicester, @Madrid, Arsenal, @United then a few weeks after that they play Madrid, chelsea, Liverpool. If they dump 4-6 points you wonder if at some point they say fuck it and just prioritize the FA Cup and Champions league
They are 100% already there in terms of prioritizing UCL. We’re 16 clear with a game in hand. City are closer to 8th than 1st.
Until they drop more points and max out around 86-87, I won't feel comfortable. Last year I thought no way they're going to win 17 in a row or whatever the fuck they did to close the season out and they pulled it off. When Leicester and City were on the same points I wasn't worried about them at all. Because its City and they can absolutely reel off 15 in a row, I worry.
Don't care what they do at this point. We wont drop 16 (19) points from here to the end of the season.
Logically I know that 30 points from 16 games (1.875 PPG or 72 points over a 38 game season) is a lay up. That said, I'll hold my breath probably up until the magic number is in the single digits in points.
The current City team is capable of beating us in a two legged champions league tie. But they absolutely cannot win 15 league games in a row.
