Streaming on my iPad. I was hoping to rubberneck United or Chelsea/pull for the might Foxes depending on how the day develops
My plan is 1 of United/Leicester and Chelsea/Wolves on my wife’s iPad, and the other on a 2nd tv with City on my main tv If Peacock isn’t free, let me know. Not sure how many can get on gold roonskie gets first dibs
Yes. Their base service is free and generates money by making you watch ads. It also let’s you access ~75% of their library. I’m now crossing my fingers that the matches are included in the 75%. Checking now.
From what I can see looking at my Peacock account and what it costs to upgrade to premium it says that upgrading to premium would include Prem so I don’t think free does. Which makes sense with them doing away with gold next season from my understanding
Confirmed. They will be charging for next season, but tomorrow is free. https://www.peacocktv.com/premierleague
I’ll happily get premium if nbc keeps the broadcasting rights forever. I can’t handle espn’s soccer coverage.
My thoughts as well. But I think United and Chelsea finish 3rd and 4th. No way Brendan wins a big game
Chelsea getting left to Europa comes with a bonus that if Arsenal win the FA Cup, it also keeps Spurs out of Europe altogether
It sucks that I have to cheer for either arsenal or spurs to be left out. Wish it was both. Thanks for nothing, city.
I like NBC a lot but I would be perfectly fine with ESPN+ having coverage. It’s an amazing deal and I’ve been happy with their coverage for cups, Championship and Serie A.
Hey it only works that way because Arsenal is outside top 6. If it were City vs Chelsea then Spurs would be in It’s amusing for Spurs to possibly have to watch the final rooting for Chelsea
The studio and commentators are so much better on nbc. ESPN’s soccer fc show is absolutely garbage, but I think they want it to be.
I don’t watch any studio stuff. Not just soccer but really any sports. Unless Kate Abdo is on Commentators I’m pretty whatever on, when I had TUDN I was watching it for UCL on it even though I didn’t understand them
I only watch pre and post game NBC soccer. But the YouTube algorithm feeds me Steve Nicol and Craig Brunley talking nonsense on espn fc
generally agreed. I think nbc has done a great job of building an identity around their coverage that is part of the EPL experience for American viewers. That said, I think that preference gets marginalized if it’s just one app over the other rather than on cable tv. If it’s the nbc app vs. the espn app well I’d rather it be the espn app so I can flip over to gameday or a noon game in the fall, rather than switching app to cable back and forth and having to reload the stream and blah blah blah, regardless of ESPNs shit soccer programming.
TMB soccer could produce a more insightful show than ESPN even if we let Tobias on the be regular on the panel.
I admit to not following it closely. Is the idea that NBC product will be same as recent past - big 6 / big games on tv most every weekend, fans of poor loser clubs relegated to the peacock app (nu Gold) most weekends?
For the most part. Everyone is on Peacock at least a minimum number of matches so everyone does get at least a bit on cable
I’ll arm wrestle Tobias for the right to met Kate, loser gets to interview Kyle Martino about his hair.
I hate win now mode as it typically leads to bad financial instability and an old squad really quickly. There has to be a 23-25 year old midfielder who is 80% of what Thiago is with upside.
Klopp hinting at a lot of changes today. Don’t care if we win. Let’s see some of the kids. Ending on 96 points would be pretty cool anyway.
Starting Robertson and Virg scares me.. need to sign depth there. But glad the big 3 and Trent are resting.
Really wish Minamino will show something today. Some signings have started off slow, but at least we would get flashes
Klopp showing FSG exactly what we need by playing both starting CB’s, Robertson, and a midfielder out wide today
Don’t like Origi in the same lineup with Minamino. Taki needs to play centrally to get more experience, but Divock has been so bad on the wing.
