In most of those great counter attack goals we had last year, either Can or Ox played a big role in them. Shaqiri is the only one that can do any facsimile of them going forward which is why we look so much better when he's in there. Keita being hurt and us not getting Fekir has killed us. We basically lost the entirety of our creative midfield (Coutinho, Can, Ox) and replaced it with one guy who was actually signed to be a back up wide player.

Big Shaq put on a display against Belgium yesterday. Totally dominated the game. Two assists playing as the 10. VVD got a volley in the 90' to tie Germany 2-2 and put Netherlands in the semifinals of the Euro league. Gini on the score sheet in their first game as well. Salah scored a late winner for Egypt to (I think) auto qualify them for AFCON Bobby played full 90 in first game for Brazil and Tite says hes starting again tomorrow. Lets get everybody home healthy but if we are going to have international breaks, its great for the team to have success to come back with.
Neymar (groin) and Mbappe (shoulder) both left their games today with injuries. No idea on seriousness. ETA: upon review of the footage Mbappe landed pretty badly on his shoulder. Could be a dislocated shoulder like Salah had. Neymar’s is more likely a funny feeling but he did come out after only 6 minutes.
