I was coming here to post this Spoiler but feel like a dick for doing so after reading that post about the robberies.
I’ve watched way too much of them this season, which means I’m comfortable with my hot-take: Lille are not a very good team and have been extremely lucky this season.
I have watched a fair bit of them and yes, it always feels lucky to me they stay top of the table. Though I think Bamba has been great and should’ve gone earlier in our sim draft
Meh both him and Ikone make a lot of awful decisions with the ball where they get tunnel vision and ignore runners. It’s just a strange team.
I wonder how those red cards (currently 5+ ? from the last game week) will affect the teams in the title race.
Listened to an amazing podcast today about Bordeaux. You guys been following what’s going on there? Crazy shit
In relegation battle now. Lost 5 out of the last 6. Behind the scenes its a shitshow. American firm who has majority share (King Street) has pulled out saying there is no more money (yet the same firm has now expressed interest in Inter Milan). They could be relegated to like the 6th or 7th tier. If they do find a buyer, the rumor is that it would cost 80m to pay off debts and loans. French gov't is looking into this and they don't take this debt shit lightly. On top of that. New stadium is shit.. considered "soulless" and is way outside of town. Podcast is here (only 8 min long)... love listening to these guys https://podcast.ausha.co/official-l...beau-jeu/best-of-what-is-going-on-at-bordeaux
This kid is supposedly going to start playing with PSG once he turns 16 and naturally has a lot of hype behind him. He’s already 6ft4 so the physical adjustment shouldn’t be an issue either. https://www.transfermarkt.com/el-chadaille-bitshiabu/profil/spieler/787912
Lille draw St Etienne so cushion is gone. Still control destiny though so win next weekend vs Angers and they win the league
youd think that since angers has nothing to play for they do the right thing and not put their best foot forward
Ehh… it’s so hard to say. Have won 4 in a row but played some teams who are in the dumps. The positive vibes say absolutely because the last 4 games is the first time the entire first team has been healthy and on the pitch together since Sept.
Nantes is currently 1 point back of Strasbourg, Lorient and Brest. Strasbourg and Lorient play each other and Brest plays PSG. Allez Nantes... need this game bigtime.
