Yeah a goal from the centerline should never happen but is incredible when someone has the audacity and skill to pull it off. Xabi's against Newcastle was better imo. What Suarez did to set up that goal vs Man U was insane. Miss that crazy fuck.
The Alonso one the goalie falls down though, kind of spoils it for me. The reason the goalie is so far off of his line vs Suarez is because he one touch nut megs the center back off of a goal kick. Honestly though it's probably only his 3rd best goal against Norwich
Yeah. Solanke and Salah are great adds but everyone knows where we're the weakest. I'll continue to be patient until it's not addressed.
Sure feels like we're going to play chicken this summer which is admirable but scary. Last year when Gotze turned us down we went to Mane right away. This year feels like we're stuck on Van Dijk and Keita, even Ox to a certain extent. Its a little unsettling.

How so? I think all the NB kits have been some of our best kits and better than the cookie cutter kits Nike and adidas give everyone. These look great, but they're also just a simple updated version of a kit we've already had.
Probably the only one I disliked in this lineup when seen on the field was the purple kit. Toxic thunder kits will have a weird soft spot for me always. I liked the Magic eye book-esque first kit as well.
Warrior kits were terrible.. I have liked all the new balance ones.. I think new balance has done a better job with our kits then Nike and adidas do with others.
So if we're not going to buy another winger, and Markovic is going to be sold, there's no way I'd loan Ojo. Let him play all the cup games and fill in off the bench in case of injury.
I get that, but we're looking at playing 55-60 games this year. We barely got through last year and only played 47. We need a much bigger squad this year.

I wouldn't mind one way or another I just think we have numerous guys that can play on the wing as a secondary position if needed... Lallana, Coutinho, Solanke, origi, etc....Harry Wilson could also play cup games if he doesn't get loaned.
Right but Lallana and Coutinho aren't great on the wing, but they are very effective in the midfield. I hate weakening 2 positions to fill one. Ojo is the only true winger and one of the few players we have with pace outside of Salah and Mane. Every time I watch Ojo I'm impressed.
