Counted 19 errors on Lovren, 4 in the first 10 minutes. And I'm sure I missed half of them.

 

Would be ecstatic if Salah had taken that early one.

 

We had a good number of looks. I thought their GK did a good job of stopping most of our low crosses.

 

I thought Migs did a good job of shot stopping. He might not have controlled the box well but he came through strong with a few free shots from Hoff.

 

The last 10 minutes Migs was peak Migs. Just dropping to his line over and over instead of coming out claiming the ball

 

Their goal 90% on TAA.

 

If you told me 3 hours ago we win 2-1 on the road to a team that didn't lose once last year at home, I would be thrilled. With that said, Lovren and Moreno are fucking terrible. Mane is so fucking good, can't wait until Salah starts clicking with him and Firmino. Now take care of business at Anfield and sign another CB already. Talk to you guys in another 6 months.

 

There is a small part of me that thinks I can't judge Moreno correctly right now because of Lovren being right next to him.

I thought he had a couple of mistakes but overall wasn't terrible. Hoffenheim were targeting the left side all night though. Put him in a ton of 2 on 1's

100% agree. There is no creativity or pace in our midfield and I don't think Grujic helps any of those problems, Milner certainly doesn't.

 

Did think we were better when we subbed Milner for hendo. We never play well with hendo and can on the pitch at the same time.

 

Which is why signing Can has to be priority 1.

 

I'd like to add that I'd like a CB to go along with a LB and I wouldn't be too upset with a DM either. Basically what I'm saying is, strengthen up the F'ing defense.
