Lolana coming on is mystifying. Run Mane into the fucking ground. Love Mo but he should have come off before Mane. Some of the lamest defenders in the league have been taking it off of him the past month. Fucking blows but Everton was always playing for a draw and just got thier biggest result of the season.
Well good job good effort boys, will take a miracle at this point to win the league. It does show what buying quality/elite players like VVD and Allison can do for a team, as evidence of our improvements this year. There is still more roster building to go. But hey, let’s have some fun with it the rest of the year and see what happens.
Midfield is way overly defensive. Hendo and gini need to play further up the pitch. We’re just not creative enough.
The fact that he plays Hendo and Milner over Keita these past few games is embarassing I can’t remember the last time Hendo made a decent run into the attack
I would counter that with our defensive record this year and how many points that has gotten us so far. We have sputtered and an extended period of Mo and Bobby not playing their best has exposed our midfield for its shortcomings but if Mo has a winner on Saturday and Bobby had put one in against Man U and we’re 5 points clear with 9 to go I think we are all heralding the midfield for their shape and running and organization which hasn’t yet faltered or let us down. It’s tome to open it up. I think we’d all rather go down swinging than die a death of 0-0 draws, but when we are looking at one of our great defensive seasons in club history and our projected points total because of that, it’s hard for me to blame a midfield, on the scope of the season, that has been rock solid.
Well I'd agree if Alisson wasn't responsible for about 8 points himself. And where would we be without VVD? There's a balance to be had and we shouldn't have to rely on Salah to score 34 goals in a season to win. The midfield isn't scoring enough, they aren't creating chances, its a problem. We can play the what if game going the other way as well. What if Alisson doesn't stop the point blank header against Everton at Anfield? What if Alisson doesn't save the point blank shot against Napoli in extra time. The midfield shape looks a lot better when VVD and Alisson bail them out constantly.
It’s just tightness in his hammy. He hasn’t had a lot of prolonged runs. Don’t over react until they announce more.
First game back with the U23s last week Came off after 40 min with hammy tightness but they’re saying he’s ok so far
Just watched extended highligjts, that burnley first goal was so fucking bad, how do you miss that call?
I feel like officiating has been so terrible in general this year, from no calls to awful pens given to them obviously not having a clue on offsides anymore VAR can’t come soon enough
