I try to buy them from the club. You can’t tell them apart really except for fit. Though the one from stephen_follower was very good
I'll buy a Liverpool kit next year. Only jersey I've ever bought was a Michael Bradley USA one for the 2014 World Cup. Should've gone with my heart and gotten a Dempsey one. My plan was to get a USA one for every World Cup, but things went wrong.
I'm leaning toward VVD or Mane. But if I wanted to showoff my astute knowledge of the game to random dickheads at the bar, I'd get a Wijnaldum.
Will be using aliexpress to purchase next year’s black and gold alisson jersey and a vvd or Bobby red kit. Never had a problem with their stuff before and it’s all been basically indistinguishable from the official site stuff at like 1/5 the price
Carragher, though, believes that a few minor tweaks will help to keep the Reds competitive and add even greater depth to a side that intends to continue chasing down major honours on multiple fronts. The iconic former defender has already conceded that he would re-sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona if the Brazilian were to be available for the right price, with his ball-playing ability ticking one of the boxes that Klopp should be seeking to address.
Ok, then what IS the right price? Damn sure it’s not even close to the 100 million price tag Barca currently has on him.
Yeah would probably split the fanbase (and maybe locker room) on re-acquiring him pretty good....he would have to come at too much of a bargain to be realistic iyam
Got an alert this morning about a 17 year old Dutch cb. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ki-Jana_Hoever
He made it sound like we’re staying put with hopes of Gomez keeping healthy and holding onto Matip as a backup Would be pretty disappointed honestly
Gomez and Matip were great this season. Sounds like we are only looking at depth at LB and a versatile attacker.
We need 3 positions. LB cover, attacking cover, & CB. With everyone we're rumored to sell we could probably do it with a zero net spend.
I'd say we need an attacking mid as well, especially if Klopp isn't going to trust Shaqiri. We have Ox but I'm not relying on him to stay healthy over 60 games. If we're going to sell 80-100 mil of players on top of all of the money we've made over the course of the season, it'd be really disappointing if we bout 2 players and ended up spending 40-60 mil total.
Seeing rumors that Madrid are signing Hazard and Eriksen after signing Courtois last season. Just wanted to say how its great to finally see Spanish teams stealing players off of other teams and not just trying to poach every half decent Liverpool player.
I’d love to have Memphis coming off the bench. His quality would be nice to have in case Salah or Mane get injured. We have been so lucky those 2 have stayed healthy. There isn’t any other position we need to spend big on. We aren’t gonna spend big on a CB. Klopp loves Gomez and Matip showed he can be good playing alongside Virg. I know y’all want to spend on a CB but it’s not gonna happen.
I am being presumptuous a bit on his mentality but my recollection of Depay at United was that he was similar to Zaha at United, did not perform well with limited minutes/role and limited minutes/role led to unsettling him which led to worse performances and attitude and a vicious cycle was born. Both are guys who thrive as focal points and (I don’t think) adapt well to a squad role. Klopp has a special way of managing those situations to their maximum potential and it helps to have his countrymen Gini and Virg in the team to give him some comfort but the spirit of the collective has been so instrumental in our success, why not give BDD those minutes and spend that money elsewhere. Am I underestimating Memphis’ ability? ETA: id guess Memphis is a 30-40mm player??
I could see him being more than that though I don’t know his contract situation. Also at United didn’t they throw him into the 7 shirt immediately? That’s quite a bit of pressure for a young player
Memphis chose the 7 shirt himself. There was talk of off the pitch stuff affecting his play like going out and partying every night but I think a lot of that was just rags being rags. I think Paddy Murphy is mostly right about what went wrong with him at United. He was getting good minutes to start the season iirc but wasn't performing up to his price tag. That led to a reduced role that he wasn't very happy with and everything just snowballed from there. I don't think was mentally ready for the pressure of needing to perform on a consistent basis at a big club and all the outside noise that comes with it if you're not.
Could pay for someone in Depay's price range just by selling Ryan Kent, Clyne, Lallana, and some guys from the academy.
I think they want to loan him to a premier league side. And Newcastle don't spend money. So a loan would make sense.
Agreed, which is truly why I asked. Also seemed weird for you guys to sell one of your top youngsters.
I think theres a good chance he goes in this window. Most depends on if he wants a full preseason under Klopp to try to force his way in the squad or not.
The only reason would be that they are going to buy someone and there's no way he's going to get into the squad.

Crazy to think how many years we've spent outside of the Champions League but we are still the most successful English club in the competition this century.
