Bc it looks like that upper echelon of keepers are not making it to LFC this window, I’m guessing Karius essentially gets a another tryout until Xmas at least. I agree but I'm hoping its Lallana. Gini can play basically anywhere in the midfield, he's younger, less injury prone, and frankly better.

Depends. If you look at the midfield, we’re set at DM with hendo and Fabinho. Gini was playing there a lot last season. Keita will start every game fit so he’s not getting a starting spot there and if we get Fekir, he will start most games there.

That leaves us one of hendo/Fabinho, ox when back healthy, Lallana, wijnaldum, and Milner on the bench just in midfield.

 

So really what we need is a back up to Keita, Gini is the best suited to be the back up 8. You get 6 bench players so: GK, Matip, Clyne/Moreno, Ox, Gini, Hendo, Whatever striker we keep

 

Klavan would be on that list.

 

Do we usually dress 2 center backs in reserves?

We probably need to keep Lallana just for Homegrown rules. We are running out of English players if we sell Sturridge and Lallana

On the Premier League website we had Lloyd Jones, Flannagan, and Danny Ward as home grown players at the start of the season. I know Ward was U21 but my point is we can put players on there that don't play for us.

 

He's missed 54 games over the last 3 seasons. He just turned 30.
