Yesterday when mookie got caught stretching 3rd in bottom of 7th in a 1 run game it was a mandate from heaven we wouldnt come back.

now we actually are getting a pitcher to limit traffic and we will struggle to score a second run

Which is amazing given the top of the lineup struggles aside from Smith. Muncy realizing it is easier to hit the ball when he can see it and some timely hitting from the bottom of the order has been carrying them

 

Having a 7 game division lead with everything the team has weathered (injuries and some lengthy cold streaks) is pretty awesome imo

basically 3 losses in NFL = 29 in MLB
