Washington's talent level hasn't improved from last year's 0-11 or 1-10 season. Entirely new staff, led by an unproven and young offensive coordinator that usc fans are happy to be rid of. LSU rids themselves of the terrible and moronic co-defensive coordinators and hires a dc that can do well when he has superior talent.

LSU has tons of talent and has seemingly ironed out their QB situation (say what you want, but Jefferson is an infinite upgrade over that garbage last year.)

-17!? Because they're flying out to Washington? I mean, during the season, against a good team, sure that shit comes into play. But the first game of the season? I mean would you seriously be more surprised to see LSU 42-10 than LSU 35-20?

If UW can score 10 I will be shocked, but which LSU offense will show up? Gotta love having Scott carry the ball, but how long will they play? Im not gonna bet on it.

I'm all over +17.5 if it gets there. Won't buy, obviously, but 17.5 is money.

I think Washington +17.5 is a good bet at this point. They're at home, they return 18 starters (Which is a bigger factor than you think in week one), Jake Locker is finally healthy, and do you really think LSU will be able to get up to play Washington after they went 0-12 last year? LSU definitely wins but I think Washington covers.

Most don't realize is Washington is a 5-6 win team last year if Locker is healthy. QB depth and the toughest schedule in America is what killed them.
