Chaisson was basically a ghost and he still gets to talk more shit I’m sick
Well, he was on the winning team...I think it’s better than Texas player talking shit before an obvious loss
both teams made a mockery of their claims
Orgeron is the perfect example of a coonass
Love this man like my own uncle
These fools let the long lost Culkin brother come into their house and hang 45 on em I’ll never recover
Such a whiny little bitch
Welp that was fun to be at. The crowd was great. Loud. Shame they couldn’t pull it out. The dropped TD and goal line stands hurt. Both Ds were terrible.
At pluckers now for wings and booze
I just puked more than I’ve ever puked in my life
this was a fun game
That's my HC BABY
RANDY MOSS AGREES WITH US
Great time. UT fans were all cool. Made a lot of friends in the 40 minute beer line.
No more of those teas at Cain & Abel’s. I laid in the back seat while my wife drove us home this morning.
I'll also say it was louder than I expected. My bro/sis-in-law went to the games when they lived there and said that's the loudest they had ever heard it.
It sounded like there were people ringing cow bells. Can anyone confirm if this is something UT does?
I thought Mississippi St. was the only program pathetic enough to ring cowbells, please tell me Texas doesn’t do this.
i’ve never heard a cowbell at dkr
I’m now sober and watching the replay, there’s definitely at least one person ringing some sort of bell.
I didn't see or hear cowbells, but they pipe in a LOT of music/noise for as long as possible. More than other stadiums.
I didn’t hear any cowbells
The same songs over and over and over and again
I enjoyed people on sec football pods calling dkr a church.
That was an incredible environment. And I’ve seen a game at Vandy!
General comment: #LSU Tigers were great guests and a party to tailgate with and share the stands with. Stoked to make the trip to BR. Congrats on the W. I hope nobody died on scooters.
It’s within the rules, but do you think it’s not bullshit?
Glad you enjoyed it and very much looking forward to Baton Rouge next year. That was a great tailgate and game. When I die at 60, let it be known that Abel’s took my last 10 years away from me.
Best game day atmosphere since Mizzou in 08 ((I think) I was a generally drunk soph, but I think that’s when the Chase Daniel has a FUPA meme made its way). Glad the stadium exceeded expectations.
I’ll second folks saying they’ve never heard a cow bell. Sorry if that was around you, but that’s not normal. I’ll listen to the replay whenever I get a good enough bottle of whiskey to do that and report back.
Now that I think about it, the band used to have some small bells that I think they’d ring, but I haven’t heard about those since 10+ years ago. Maybe it’s those?
this is actually the kids older sister
You mean like Neck?
don’t you disrespect Neck
that is a CFB staple
Let the LSU folks chime in. Jesus, dump
I actually don't. And I say that expecting teams to do it to us at some point this year.
At a micro level for this game, most of the guys who went down are the ones we are going to have miss a play just to stop the clock. We are talking Delpit, K'Lavon, Divinity, Logan. These are starters and several of them went to the locker room. O said after the game that we didn't give as many kids IVs at half as we usually do, so we fucked that up and it bit us in the ass.
But at a macro level, I'm still good with it. If my player is fatigued and doesn't have a chance to sub, I would 100% tell him to sit his fat ass down and take the play out. I'd much rather that than him hurt himself (or even just get beat on the play). Hurry up back to the line to accommodate the offense's game plan? Nah, screw that. Sit down fat boy.
But the Texas fans were booing because the poor LSU players were faking it
Im a first generation aggie, class of 17. I was never able to attend an a&m-tu game. For the longest time, i've been bitter that i never had that chance and likely wont for quite a while. I always thought it was dumb that we didnt play the team we hate the most.
This all changed saturday. My sister, a current texas student, found me a ticket to go to the lsu game and i couldnt say no, figuring it would be a great experience. Sitting in their student section changed my entire perception. Their fans are petty, vindictive bullies who threaten to fight people, throw things at the opposing bench, and boo injured players. Having never been to DKR before, i had no idea how bad it was. I guess i thought everyone was just exaggerating.
Not to mention, the stadium is a dump. Getting in and out was a mess, concessions were infinitely worse than kyle (30 minutes to get water), and everything is in need of renovation.
It was great to see our SEC brethren stomp them and watch all the texas fans around me cry and moan, but i never want to go back to that stadium or deal with that horrible fanbase again, and im now firmly in the NEVER AGAIN camp.
shut the fuck up dump
This is not a thing
Thank you to any of my big 12 brethren whomst incited riots or hurled obscenities on Saturday.
copy pasting an entire tigerdroppings post is midseason dumpflowering.
