What a fantastic college football experience. Really, hats off to UT and LSU fans. I had a great time. I got to the tailgate around 3pm and enjoyed a significant amount of cajun food and barbecue. The DKR suites are nice and well staffed. The game environment itself was great. I haven't had that much fun at a game since the Baylor/TCU 61-58 game.
I'm looking forward to UT coming to Waco this year. I'm hoping for another great game then, too.
Lame ass move, Longhorns.
Soft and B1G
You could hear cow bells on the broadcast
Do you believe there was no ac but it was not mentioned until now? Also without ac on a 100 degree day the training staff decided not to give IVs at half? Does any of that make sense? Odd it only affected defensive players but not offensive players from LSU.
"First we've heard" is not a denial...just sayin...
I don't really give a damn
Texans getting their revenge on the Saints tonight
Not mentioned until now? It’s 2 days after the game.
It’s the first weekday after the game
Yeah and they said Tech had the same problem. Yet no word until now. Also only affected defensive LSU players. Seeing as they were the only ones with cramps. Funny how this “report” came out after Texas implied LSU was faking cramps.
Liability alone would prevent something like this from happening. The facts do not add up.
So you’re going to go with the belief that LSU faked cramps and sent starters on defense to the locker room as a way to slow down the UT offense?
He's pretty adorable. We took Divinity, Chaisson, Divinity, Lawrence off the field to slow them down. Much better to have Joseph Evans, Cordale Flott, etc on the field for a few plays. We even sent Divinity and Delpit to the locker room to sell it. But they didn't stay long cause it was too hot in there...
So your going with neither Louisiana team would have made note of no ac until 9 days after the first game? So your going with only defensive players from LSU were affected by the no ac? So your going with the training staff thought IV was unnecessary while playing in 100 degree heat and while sitting in an unventilated locker room? Your going with a school would be willing to accept a major liability risk to have an edge in a football game?
I didn’t say no AC was the cause of cramps. Playing in 100 degree heat can have that affect on people.
Coach O didn’t even blame the lack of AC on the cramps and said they didn’t give enough guys IV.
You would rather believe that LSU purposely played worse players as a way to gain some advantage and seem to have convinced yourself that UT would’ve won otherwise so no one is going to convince you otherwise but you shouldn’t expect people not to laugh at you with that stance
No UT lost because they made too many mistakes. They scored on every one of the drives with cramps. The cramps had nothing to do with the outcome of the game for UT.
LSU has been doing the same thing in Bryant Denny for years. Takes a tough team to overcome their antics
I mean, if...Twitter user QB1TATT00 says it, must be true.
Yeah it doesn't sound like something Texas would do
Tom Herman has broken your brain to the point where you are STILL in a thread about Texas and LSU, and now posting random tweets from Twitter users with 2k followers.
I may post in it until next year's game tyvm
It's a free country.
The truth is out there.gif
Lmao 3 days later and we’re still talking about this game. Both schools need to quit playing and sign an 8 yr extension on this series.
The most logical explanation of this entire thing:
1. Ed O didn't give player IVs
2. LSU players started cramping
3. Fans boo'd because they thought it was being faked (I don't think it was fake outside of maybe 1 or 2 of the 12)
4. Reporters tried to stir shit up between the coaches
5. Ed O tried to cover for no IVs by saying AC also wasn't working well (He never even said it was off) not realizing the implication it could have
6. Local Baton Rogue news ran a clickbait article saying Texas shut off AC
7. ADs got involved because being accused of trying to murder players via hotboxing is a slightly big accusation.
8. La Tech was dragged into this and Skip Holtz is trying to "nope" out of this shit show.
This is the correct answer.
Just watched the game of the century documentary where Arkansas fans sat outside the Texas hotel the night before the game yelling and playing instruments to keep the team awake all night.
Makes me sad to think how soft the league has become.
the obsession is REAL
Clearly DryBulbU. Those temps seem high. The sensors that they would have air readings of are at or near the cooling coils. The buildings I work in have set points around 64 degrees for keeping the floors at 68-70 degrees. If the air after the coil is at 68, the rooms it’s cooling would never cool the space with 100+ people added.
Could not care less about AC gate
This shit is hilarious
Lol Texas investigation clears Texas of any wrongdoing
They won the game, LSU won the game
Good gif though
Poor fellas got hurt every play
REINFORCEMENTS HAVE ARRIVED
