I like that deal for both teams especially Tampa. Profar would be a huge upgrade over Beckham and Motter and the Rangers can definitely afford to trade Profar. I am so envious of how your team is run from the major league level on down to your system which is always top notch.
Going to enjoy my final weeks following all of Benintendi, Moncada and Espinoza in the Sox system. Preparing for a Kimbrel trade on steroids.
And he was just called up by the Red Sox and will enter the lineup on Wednesday The Red Sox intend to ease Benintendi into his big-league career. He won't be in the lineup until Wednesday night against Mariners right-hander Hisashi Iwakuma and, for now, manager John Farrell said the lefty-hitting Benintendi likely will split time in left field with righty-swinging Bryce Brentz, which will enable versatile Brock Holt to move back into the utility role that makes him so valuable to the Red Sox. When Benintendi plays, he will bat in the lower half of the order, according to Dombrowski.
Mariners are hoping Tyler O'Neil (OF) continues his hot streak and snags a roster spot sometime this year. Likely outcome? BUST
I think Giolito asserts himself as the best pitching prospect in baseball, Kyle Tucker and Eloy Jiminez are dominant at times in HIgh A, Kolby Allard makes a move up the rankings, and Dylan Cease gets a Sept 1 call up and makes an impact out of the bullpen for the Cubs. I also love the Brewers' young core. Phil Bickford forces the Brewers' hand, Isan Diaz buzz grows louder as season goes on, Lewis Brinson makes noise at the MLB level before the year is done. Josh Bell emerges for Pittsburgh and does not leave the top half of their lineup for 10 years.
Really hate Max Pentecost had to miss a whole year behind the plate. Also think Torres will shot up the minor leagues, and I'm really interested in how Louis Ortiz and Toussaint progress this year as well.
unreal how loaded their system is already and they are going to add to it. Crazy that Burdi is throwing 100 mph with a plus slider and change and is considered the 5th best arm in their system after Giolito, Kopech, Lopez, and Fulmer.
I was at that game. Charlotte is a great place to be for watching AAA talent, the stadium is better than some MLB teams. I have both Robertson and Nate Jones on my fantasy team this year, so this isn't looking good for me!
Brendan McKay...holy smokes. He's considered one of the very top prospects in this year's draft as a LHP/1B. Been hearing that most consider him a LHP. Hit 4 HRs with 9 RBI for Louisville today.
White Sox signing 19 year old Cuban Luis Robert. He's a big, big addition. Instantly a top prospect in an extremely top heavy org. Moncada Giolito Kopech Fulmer Lopez Burdi Collins Then the arms they drafted last year like Dunning and Hansen have been excellent. Add Robert and you probably have the best farm system up top in MLB.
Yeah he's still not been really sharp with his command, esp his fastball, for a while now. He is still young but needs to start putting it together soon. If he does he has top of the rotation potential.
