And Liverpool and Man U both dropped 2 points today with a draw, Chelsea losing to bottom dwellers Palace and Tottenham are only tied at the moment with Bournemouth Edit I guess Tottenham are not tied. ESPN said it was 1-1 then updated to 1-0 again
Only 6 Premier League Players with 6 or more goals so far and 3 are City players. Aguero, Sterling and Jesus. Kane and Lukaku are two of the other 3 and have played all 8 games, Sterling and Jesus have only played 7 games and Aguero only 6. Also only 11 PL players have 3+ assists, 5 are City Players. Silva leads the league with 6, De Bruyne has 5, Aguero, Walker and Sane all have 3.
KDB probably leads the league in hockey assists by a decent margin. He has so many balls that are just perfect and let that guy lay it off for a tap in
The depth of this squad is amazing. Man U drop points and people complaining about the Feliani and Pogba injuries. Chelsea blaming this weekend's loss to Palace on Morata, Kante and Drinkwater injuries. City missing Aguero, Kompany and Mendy.....beat Chelsea and then drop 7 goals on Stoke.
Really thought there would never been a side that strikes fear in me like the Napoli side in 2011 with that 3 headed monster of Cavani, Lavezzi, and Hamsik. Well this Napoli side scares me even more. They are white hot and can score in buckets. Biggest challenge of the season by far.
Heard this on the radio today and it is truly amazing, 2006-07 Manchester City 29 goals in all 38 Premier League games combined. And they are at 29 goals so far this season after only 8 games.
Believe that the season that we score 10 goals at home all season and all of them came in prior to Feb. 07.
Must win the group or we are getting Bayern/Paris, Barca, or Madrid in R16. Win the group only have to avoid Bayern/Paris and Juve in R16. Dont want to be going to SD on the final matchday needing to get something. So win in Naples and at home vs Feyenoord would do that.
Beautiful play today only made better by United losing to fucking Huddersfield for the first time in 65 years.
idk if anyone is watching (or even particularly cares) but wolves is dominating us only level because of two incredible saves from bravo
wolves have been awesome and deserve the win. just been sloppy and totally out of sorts. may be heading into 30 mins of extra time
this is crazy. can't get anything to fall pretty annoying to have to play sergio and raheem for 120 mins
every pass and run has just been a half a beat off. even kdb looks awful but wolves have been awesome in the back. no expectation to win this shootout. just forget this performance and move on the bigger stuff
lol i know it means nothing for us but the more times i get to watch my team play, the better so that was fun.
That was a fun game, dudes. Will Norris blew me away. Snatched him from Cambridge in the summer and I could honestly see him taking over for Ruddy by the end of the year. Bright just couldn’t finish last night. We gave him a ton of looks but it just wasn’t there. Would’ve been absolutely incredible to do it in the 118’ but this one always looked destined for PKs. Here’s hoping for the rematch next season.
English media may be worse than USA. There are headlines saying City and Arsenal may have to replay their games from yesterday or worse may be expelled from carabao cup for making 2 extra time subs. Bournemouth and Leeds have both done this already in this competition.... http://www.espnfc.us/story/3242949/...t-face-carabao-cup-expulsion-over-substitutes
the announcers discussed numerous times that an additional sub was part of the new rules we'd sooner just forfeit the game than have to replay it
It is the Sun. The National Enquirer has a better reputation of reporting the truth than them. Actually those clickbait ads about enlarging body parts on some dodgy website is more reputable than the Sun. Also not read/click on any links to The Sun. Fuck them. If for some reason anyone has not seen the 30 for 30 about the Hillsborough disaster then you need to make it your mission to watch it. It will explain a lot about why the Sun is such a hated "newspaper"
It has really rejuvenated my love of soccer, this team is a joy to watch. I look forward to watching them now more than any other team I cheer for which I never thought I would say about a soccer club.
