Mason had pull out of the England squad due to an underlying injury he’s apparently had for awhile. Not sure if he would have made the eventual 26 man squad but sucks for him if he would have. Lingard supposedly not going to make the squad either so hopefully the club can sort his future out sooner rather than later.
Selfishly good for us, he needs to be healthy to make the big leap forward this season. He must push for more consistency on play, hoping to see him get back those 5 goals he regressed on this season from last year.
I kinda believe it unless the club/he feels like he just needs a break. The Euros would be a great experience for him and his continued development.
