I would be good with a pretty significant rotation for the FA cup game. Specifically Rashford and Bruno being dropped from the starting lineup or not playing at all.
100% intentional imo. Rewatched the match a couple times now and Newcastle lost it in the last 5-10 minutes of the first half. The 2nd goal put them on their heels and it felt like they let their focus shift towards the refereeing from that point on. Longstaff and Wilson pathetically tried to get Fred sent off for a nothing challenge. Then Joelington completely lost it over a little showboating from Antony. Seemed like those last two incidents just broke them mentally. Don’t understand the people who thought Newcastle dominated. It was a bunch of possession with nothing to show for it. 2 shots on target and only 1 really troubled De Gea.
Just checked, Rashford on pace for about 38 goals in all comps. For reference: You've have to go back to Ronaldo in 07/08 (42 goals) for that to be bettered. Rooney 11/12 (34g), RvP 12/13 (30g) and Zlatan 16/17(28) are not likely to match Rashy this season.
