Meh, I'm ok with it depending on who they replace him with. Herrera has played fairly well since OGS took over but has definitely felt like a stopgap at that position imo. I don't think he would be a regular starter if they brought in someone new or if Fred was on form anyway. The midfield needs to get younger and could use some new faces. Wouldn't mind seeing Matic leave too if I'm being honest. The club need to get the wage structure back under control after the Alexis fiasco as well. That starts with not getting into a bidding war and giving £200,000 a week to a soon to be 30 year old.
You aren’t wrong, and if he can get the rumored wage at psg more power to him. I’d just rather him be on the roster for depth as he’d be the least of our dead wood and yeah I’m over Matic too.
I turned it on late, missed McSauce’s goal Also Mike Dean views Pogba as a NFL ref views Cam, do better you bald knob
#mufc have played with a back three six times this season. Lost four (Tottenham, West Ham, Liverpool and Wolves) and drawn two (Southampton and Arsenal).
We still had the chances and Lukaku and Lingard didn’t finish them, I’m not sure how you put that OG on Solksjaer
not to mention Rui Patricio swinging that big dick energy yesterday but yes a more tradional formation with Martial would have been preferable but that didn’t work last time at Molinaux so
Don't think we can afford to lose another match, including City, at this point if we want to make top 4. Going to be in 6th with the lowest goal differential after today.
Valencia, Herrera, Mata, Darmian, Rojo, Bailly, Sanchez are all in the discussion. Probably be difficult to sign even 3 players, let alone 6, of the caliber the club need/want without CL tho.
Feel like all we really need to do is get rid of Sanchez, Rojo and Valencia and if we get productive replacements it’s a win
Valenica and Herrera are gone for sure. Mata probably is too imo. Alexis will be difficult to get rid of with those wages and Rojo seems content with just collecting a paycheck. Darmian is 29 and I feel like he will want to head back to Italy to finish his career. Bailly is going to be 25 in a few weeks and I don't think he will want to waste his prime years playing a supporting role imo.
