guess i read rivals wrong i thought it said kentucky
So when do we start discussing the much-needed B1G handicap in tourney seeding?
Im thinking a 5-seed cap for their tourney winner and maybe toss in a pity 10-seed for another.
Fran is really easy to cheer against. Altman should be more disliked nationally than he is. Open records requests are a hell of a drug
we turn the ball over and don't hit 3s
Lets see if the strategy pays off
they should be a 1 bid league for the conference tournament winner
LSU, time to do your job
He should come back. That would be wild
nobody gives a shit about brackets but i'm in the 100th percentile at ESPN. feels good.
have your team play against him 1-2 times for 4 years and then you'd know
I don't have any hate for him.
He was really only good 2 of those years though.
The thing with the Big Ten is they all seemed to have random stints of inconsistent play on top of a pretty weak non conference schedule. Really the only teams that looked consistent all year were Michigan and Illinois
Iowa had a stretch they lost 4 of 5
OSU lost 4 straight before the mini run in B10 tourney
Purdue lost to Clemson and Miami in non-con.
Maryland started like 4-8 in the B10
Rutgers started 3-6 in B10 and lost 4 of 7 to end regular season
Michigan State was barely .500
Wisconsin lost 6 of 8 to end the regular season
He’s really good and white. That’s basically it. I’m sure I wouldn’t like the guy either if he played for any other Big Ten team but the rest of the conferences fans, at least on TMB, has a weird obsession for him.
nebraska must be so fucking horrendous to not be able to complete
top 3 teams are auburn unc and kentucky so he wants a bag
Basically, he has a history of disregarding sexual assault allegations
He let a player play an entire season while knowing he was being investigated for sexual assault in another state from his days in JUCO
What’s funny is, for the most part Nebraska hung around in almost every game for at least a half or even a little more, before having a complete meltdown (they’d legit go on 8+ minute scoring droughts every game). I kept thinking OK we suck but at least we’re hanging around. Unfortunately this weekend has caused the minimal hope I had for Nebrasketball to be washed away.
lsu line dropped a full point on my book after that game.
Actually it gives me hope that we can compete sooner than later because THESE TEAMS SUCK
do you have a dedicated basketball practice facility and shit?
we couldn't recruit and then built one and got a bunch of better players
Will Oregon’s title have an asterisk?
is gonzaga as good as everyone says?
Too bad our commissioner is in way over his head and won't do anything about the style of play/officiating.
Stern, but fair. What about the BigXII, how many should they get?
WVU, Okie State, and Texas all flamed out spectacularly. Texas Tech got clipped by Hogs. Oklahoma is about to get clapped.
Clinging to Baylor, woof. And those covid invested cheaters from Kansas.
He’s had eyes on being one and done and also getting a bag. Don’t think he’d get a bag from UNC but the other two yes. He’s Archie Goodwin 2.0, same high school and everything.
The Ohio State AD determines the conference style of play/ officiating? That’s nuts.
i have no love for the big12 either but i didn't have to listen about how all of their teams were the tits all year
that's because you weren't paying attention. The discussion all year was which conference is better, B1G or Big 12
Yeah, we got a new practice facility and brand new arena (partly for the city) maybe 6ish years ago. It’s definitely helped recruiting in the sense we have gotten a couple Top 150 guys and Hoiberg just signed the first 5 star in “program history” (there was a stretch in the 90s we actually didn’t suck).
When the facility was built, the HC at the time had a bunch of Chicago kids come in and they brought J. Okafor with them and I remember him saying something about how the facilities were better than what he saw at the blue bloods recruiting him lol
Post the evidence
Then you weren't listening.
ok riding with the zags
how much are yours?
not so fast. Oregon by at least 5.
I fixed it!
I was gonna say, that’s Texas level conference control.
lol I was waiting for him to say he was taking Oklahoma because of this.
$10 buy in.
1st round $5
2nd round $10
Sweet 16 $20
Elite 8 $40
Final 4 Halftime $25
Final 4 $50
Looks like they jumped on Iowa early and coasted in the 2nd half
Their PG Suggs is a top 3-5 pick
Kispert their SF shoots almost 50% from 3 and is a lottery pick
Timme was a finalist for the best PF award
All 5 starters shoot 33% or better from 3. They shoot 64% from 2
They are really good. Hopefully we get them and Baylor in the final. That will be a hell of a game
