Not so much in fairness but as some added context, he suggests that in literally every single last second full court situation. He’s from Valpo, he’s Bryce drew pilled
Ideal ending to the CSU game for me. Medved looks good by drawing up a nice set that leads to a 3, but they still get the loss off the buzzer beater so he can start at Minnesota this week.
Will the ball knowing posters please explain how 3 steps is not a travel for the non ball knowing types
Note that in the NBA, he'd even get an additional step (after the gather) before being allowed two steps.
So I had forgotten this was a storyline last year, but I saw some people bitching about the balls being overinflated again and it affecting a lot of the outside shooting especially. Really irritating if that’s actually the case
Dia (Ole Miss) having one of his best games of the year thus far: 14 points, 2-2 from 3, 5 rebounds, 2 steals in the first half.
I saw something about this again yesterday. Who knows if it’s true but it does seem like there are a ton of shots that bounce like 10 feet off the rim.
Sam Dekker is adamant it’s the case. They definitely use different balls for the tourney, it’s just really shitty for something like that to become so impactful. Especially when good mid majors rely so heavily on three point shooting to be successful in early round games. I know the ncaa isn’t intentionally trying to squash upsets with something like that, but I do think they’re incompetent enough to not realize the downstream consequences of using a shitty ball
Also with Izzo getting all he can handle in this 1H, I’m reminded no 1 or 2 seeds that started the season unranked in the AP poll have ever made a final four. This year there were 2, St John’s and MSU
