Ha ha nobody wants to coach your guys team.
less todd grantham talk and more todd GRAHAM talks imo
And nobody wants to read your posts yet you refuse to shut the fuck up
Nobody wanted to be raped or sexually assaulted at MSU but it happened anyway.
Did you just compare yourself to Larry Nassar? God you're a fucking idiot.
It’s all going to be ok, someone will eventually coach your rapey team, the refs are not going to let you lose to Illinois tonight, and your spartan circle jerk will meet again. All will be right in your world soon enough.
Sober up and maybe try this one again
I figured you liked your victims drunk, easier to take advantage of.
Maybe sober up, see a therapist, then try posting again
ohhh the KOTH thread comes through
This aged well
wait is Tucker going to MSU?
I believe him
Gotta place the blame at the feet of Larry Scott for not getting TV money in the same ball park
Holy shit. That must be a ton of cash in that deal
As a distinguished CU alum, it really is time the university just quits football. The act of wanting to be relevant in it can end.
"People with knowledge of Tucker’s deal with the Spartans said it doubles his Colorado coaching salary pool (which was $3.15 million in 2019), includes a substantial increase to the Michigan State strength and conditioning staff budget and program resources and will more than double Tucker’s Colorado salary, which is around $2.7 million."
Pac 12 schools are so fucked going forward.
Michigan State is paying mel tucker ~$5.5m/year?
this sucks for colorado, obviously, but this seems more like a desperate program opening up its bank and tucker getting all that he can and more out of that position.
This is a great hire for Sparty. He's a hell of a recruiter
He did an above average job at cu on the recruiting trail, but I wouldn't call him a hell of recruiter.
A million for every career win.
Is it too aggressive for someone to wish Mark Dantonio gets hit by a bus today? Asking for a friend.
he’s a hell a recruiter.
Above average is about 69 million times better than what we had
Pretty damn happy about this. Didn’t really know who he was until a wk ago, but checked a lot of boxes that our search had and some it needed, but couldn’t say publicly. Really hope the coaching pool salary is legit because that’s something we never let MD do. Time to learn what kind of connections he has as he puts a staff together
and doesn’t CU have some of the worst facilities?
No idea what to make of Tucker as a coach but at worst he should stock the roster for the next guy.
Used to until 3 years ago.
Look at Sparty swinging that B1G money dick.
Nice flex MSU.
Tough day for the pac 12
The competitive disadvantage the PAC is at makes them closer to C-USA than the B1G.
i don’t think you’d find any (reasonable) pac 12 fan/alum that would disagree.
it sucks because I’d love to see contenders out there every year. I’d be irate if I was an alum
I’m just glad the strength and conditioning budget is getting a substantial increase. With prescription drug prices these days, this was a long time coming
No, a lot of MSU fans have been wishing this would happen for a while now.
Great hire all things considered when names like Barnett were being thrown out.
Curious who he gets on his staff. I know he is a fantastic recruiter and his former Midwest ties. But curious how he fills out the staff because taking MSU national on a recruiting stage seems like it will fail.
Yeah about where I am at. Tough to get a good read on him outside of being a fantastic recruiter.
Overall, have to say after Fickell and with the clusterfuck of a process, pleased with how this ended up. Seems like this is about the best we could have hoped for at this point.
Lots of upside here, seems to be a lot to like. Some risk as well, obviously, but happy that we showed we are at least willing to make a serious financial commitment instead of just hiring some Dantonio holdover or Dantonio adjacent guy (Narduzzi, Barnett, Tressel). I think there is a lot more potential here than there would be with a guy like Creighton as well.
Still mildly disappointed we won't get to see Bert in EL.
He killed it for us.
Good thing they dont want a waffling flake as their HC.
But really, at least it's better than Harlon
He's the next Saban
Could have been far worse. Not bad all things considered.
Duke fan accusing another fan base of being rapey.
Y’all are like the OG rapists
do not engage. get out before he starts posting in your threads too
