He went on TMZ a little bit ago....tried to play hard ass on there too and they just laugh at him.... http://m.tmz.com/#article/2016/01/28/martin-shkreli-ghostface-killah-tmz-live/
pretty sure a label or studio isn't involved considering they recorded the album and then sold it to a private party. labels aren't going to advance those costs on something they have no chance of making money on
From what I understand Wu did this on their own. They weren't under contract for an album with a label/studio. No label/studio paid for them to make it. They made the album and sold it on their own.
Wu claims all backups have been destroyed. That's what made this such a big deal. The album was six years in the making and contains 31 tracks and runs 128 minutes long, though the final track listing will only be revealed to the buyer. All backup copies have been destroyed and the sole copy is being stored in a silver-and-nickel-plated box and jewel case at the Royal Mansour hotel in Marrakech. The package includes a 174-page manuscript containing lyrics, credits and anecdotes on the production of each song, printed on gilded Fedrigoni Marina parchment and encased in leather by a master bookbinder.
Very possible. I'm sure there's a clause in the contract that says they owe him at least what he paid, if not more, if they release it. RZA says they don't have a copy, though.
Also, hate to ruin it for everyone, but the Bill Murray caper thing was a joke. It was not part of the contract. http://nymag.com/following/2015/12/wu-tang-wont-actually-steal-their-album-back.html# http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/...al-back-wu-tangs-album-but-he-should-anyways/
Oh I'm sure. I'm just saying there's no way they destroyed all of the copies the same way RZA and Raekwon weren't involved in those murders. Wu Tang Clan ain't nuthin' ta fuck wit.
Sorry you missed my edit. You could be right. RZA is on the record as saying they don't have a copy, though.
Yeah he is also on record for saying he did and didn't do a whole bunch of other shit. Here's to hoping they didn't do it and Ghostface blasts this fucktard. I still don't know how he could erase a specific vocal track from an album with it being a purely physical thing like a cd or record.

Honestly, the majority of these people clearly know nothing of how the pharmaceutical industry/healthcare system work. Very sad that they may have influence in any decisions regarding those subjects.
I mean, he isn't wrong. But that's probably not something he should be saying publicly while Congress has their eyes on him. Guys got balls, probably his only admirable quality.

He did nothing wrong. The bigger asses are the men and women who wasted time and money to bring him in.
He's definitely a little shit, but my god at the retards trying to question him. They even bring up his Wu Tang album...good lord.
It was Trey Gowdy who asked the Wu Tang question. The same guy who completely botched the Clinton/Benghazi hearing. I thought Chaffetz did well, though.
I am suddenly more torn than I ever thought I would be about this guy http://www.vice.com/video/drinking-wine-and-playing-chess-at-martin-shkrelis-midtown-apartment
Ghost Face Killa responded to him today.... Here were Shkreli's tweets after it.... Martin Shkreli @MartinShkreli 8h8 hours ago The format of your apology was unacceptable, ghostfacekillah. The consequences will never be the same. (Also, stop making medical claims.) Martin Shkreli @MartinShkreli 5h5 hours ago Never seen someone real cry to his momma to handle his biz. Soft-serve ice cream rappers should shut they mouth before they get told again.
Heard him on the Breakfast Club last week. Dont see what the problem is. To me it sounds like there are a lot of bigger fish they need to go after. This is just something to get the mongoloids frothed up.
Same. I think he's very misunderstood. The guy isn't a moron. If everything he says, all of his promises, are true, I think he might be doing the right thing. And it could be very refreshing. His punchable face and actions, though, are what will keep people only hearing what they want to hear. Acting how he did at that congressional hearing will never yield anything more than the world wanting the worst for him.
Meant he did nothing wrong answering the questions the way he did. You'd be a fool to not exercise your rights in that situation.
Just look at how he acts. I don't give a shit what he has to say, you go around acting like him you need to get Ghostface'd.
I watched this about a week ago so this is from memory.... Allocates 60% of revenue to R & D...industry standard is 15% Makes case that price burden is placed on corporations purchasing the pill for resale. Tells anyone who has HIV to contact him directly and he'll give them the pill for free. His younger sister has a rare debilitating disease which served as his motivation to enter the industry. Says he bought the drug to improve it. Asks the question why the company who has owned the drug for the last 60 years hasn't done shit to improve it.
Also points out that the bigger drug companies have had larger price increases with nothing written about them
Well, I've turned around my opinion now. not team ghost. However, if/when a report shows that he was lying, I reserve the right to re-reverse my position.
He is a moron if you look at what he's in trouble for tho....and that has nothing to do with his AIDS drug. He's going to prison.
