You think they’re watching a movie where the hero is a black teenager in a mask who’s crush is blonde ballerina?
I don’t remember the trans kid poster, remember the BLM, he also had an Obama sticker but I think it said 2018.
That was so good. Impossible to top the first one but if that’s a 98 this is a 96. Can’t wait for the next one and pray it’s not further delayed.
Honestly Andrew Garfield’s Spidey has the most tragic canon events. I mean that dude lost everybody he cared about and didn’t even finish his trilogy.
also its hilarious that the dude who got hit by the bagel thrown by Miles in ITS is now Spot and the big bad in ATS
I loved his quips so much. Just little stuff, Miles said something “I’ll go here and do X, you get to those people on the bridge” and he said “I will, but not cause you told me to”
I saw someone compare Miles and Peter B to Tom Holland’s Peter and Tony Stark and Morgan is Mayday I hope its not true
Finally caught up and watched Ant-Man on Disney+ That movie was grade A booty and the only redeeming part of it has gotten himself in trouble
I’ve heard the directors say it a few times. Their whole goal of animating Spider-Punk was to make a character so cool that Miles (one of the coolest characters created) would instantly look dorky next to him.
I haven't seen Quantumania and at this point I'm dreading having to see it before Loki comes out. I have not heard good things.
I haven’t seen GOTG3 yet but really none of Phase 4/5 so far has even been theatre worthy to me. Just catch ‘em when they’re streaming.
GOTG3 and Spider-Man were the only movies since End Game worth the price of the ticket imo. The rest were meh. Dr. Strange 2 was probably the biggest disappointment for me.
Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange 2 and Black Panther 2 were all enjoyable for me and certainly worthy additions to the MCU. No Way Home is an elite MCU movie, and GOTG3 is good. Black Widow had no chance considering all the circumstances. Eternals was the wrong idea for the wrong platform (should have been a D+ epic instead of a movie). Thor 4 is this thread's version of bringing up TLJ in the Star Wars thread and I'm not going there.
The final score in ATS of it being a mix of Miles’ heroic theme, Prowler’s theme, Gwen’s drums, and SpiderPunk’s theme was beautiful
Lord & Miller made a movie so good that people got upset at the thought of not seeing a 4-5 hour movie in one sitting Geniuses
Not gonna lie. New World Order sounded a lot harder. New title sounds like something Aladdin would say.
If we don't get Beyond by March next year, my grade for Across will be docked a full letter because it will hurt my feelings.
As a non comic book lore person, can someone explain to me the concept of spider man needing a second death? I’ve only known the movies to say uncle “Ben” dies but they kept saying how the Captain also has to die which threw me off
It’s. It always the Captain but you have Death 1 (usually Uncle Ben, Uncle Aaron in Miles’ case) to make you become Spider Man, and the there’s a second one (often Gwen Stacy, with Spider Gwen it was probably Peter Parker, MCU Spider Man it was Aunt May and Tony Stark)
