That would've been fucking hilarious. Too bad they didn't have access to the IW script well in advance to do something like that.
I listened to a random podcast today reviewing Black Panther (from a while ago obv). The guys talking made the argument that T'Challa was the worst character in the movie. I thought about it for a bit but that may be fairly accurate.
Meant to go watch it on Friday(rewatch IW instead), meant to go today(got busy and didn’t make it) I’ll see you guys next Friday.
He'd make a good Mysterio or Chameleon. Not a good Kraven though, which was who I thought would be the villain.
Fuck Yes if true My dream has been Mysterio as a villain and that’s a natural progression to bring in dr strange http://variety.com/2018/film/news/jake-gyllenhaal-spider-man-2-tom-holland-1202719941/ Didn’t see it posted above, don’t even care cause I’m too excited
Am I going to be crucified ITT if I give my thoughts on Black Panther? Saw it for the first time last week. It was boring, long and pretentious. We had to turn it off. I was very disappointed.
Going to ditch out of work early on Friday to see Deadpool 2, very exited based off of the reviews in here.
I saw a comedian on twitter who put it best...”I wish I thought anything was as funny as Deadpool thinks it is.”
I didnt realize that the shirt that DP was wearing in the XMen mansion had Taylor Swift’s cats on it I love him
I thought it was ok...on par with the middling mcu movies. Even though I liked Andy Serkis a lot, I wish they would’ve left him out...he took up quite a bit of the movie and he was largely pointless. Would’ve preferred much more depth for Killmonger. Also it annoyed me when Killmonger became king and he immediately choked out a geriatric woman. It would have been far more interesting if they had left the morality of the two main characters more ambiguous.
The build-up from T'Challa not being able to kill/capture Klaw is what Killmonger used to get into Wakanda. How would you have him get in without Klaw.
DP2 was good, not great. That’s ok though, it was still entertaining. The baby legs and parachute scenes were great. Some of the one-liners felt forced. I’m interested to see where things go if/when Disney gets the rights.
