Went and watched it with my 6 year old yesterday and we both loved it. He had to pee as soon as it was over, what were the credit scenes?
PC1 - JK Simmons is back as JJJ but more of an Alex Jones talk radio type - Mysterio’s people cut a video where it appeared Spider-Man orchestrated the drones - Mysterio revealed Spider-Man was Peter Parker PC2 Fury and Maria Hill were Skrulls the entire time of FFH while the real Fury and Hill were working with the Skrulls on a spaceship (maybe SWORD)
The scene with Flash reading news about a man surviving an experiment with water could be a Hydroman set up in the future.
I saw into the spider-verse Man, I thoroughly enjoyed that. It encompassed everything I wanted from the Spider-Man character(s). If they ever did a live-action film based on spider-verse, I think it would be cool to have Miles Morales interact with Andrew Garfield, in the original universe, then the Peter B Parker played by Tobey Macguire. Just don’t think you would need Tom Holland since he and the actor playing Miles are rather young.
Sam Raimi made a Spider-man movie starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst one of the best cbm’s ever...incredible
I'll never understand how 4 people constantly screaming and acting like crack heads is such a popular show.
Have you not seen one of the best episodes, Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare, where they quit the bar, run out their unemployment, and then get addicted to crack in order to get welfare?
My F4 cast includes John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman. I want Dacre Montgomery and David Harbour for Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm.
Harbour as Hellboy was a wreck so lets include him in another comic book movie yes I know about Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans
If it weren't for IM3, Happy Hogan wouldn't have had the hero turn from incomeptent crony to valued employee and sidekick he did that eventually ends with him in tapping May Parker Tell me it isn't the most crucial film in the series with a straight face.
He was already a valued employee in IM1 and turned into a competent sidekick in IM2. IM3 turned him into a harpy that yelled about keycards.
Was on vacation and then waited for the wife to see FFH. Been out the game(thread) the whole time. Nice to be back, boys. - We all knew Mysterio was the villain but bringing it back around to Stark was a nice twist to keep even comic readers surprised by his origin - Fucking welcome back, JK....any other casting for JJJ would have fallen flat - Aunt May makes my Peter tingle - SWORD also opens the ability to bring in X-Men - Wow @ revealing Spidey's identity; I'm super intrigued to see how that plays out - Wonder if they'll bring in Brand for SWORD or if Fury will just run it since SHIELD is basically nonexistent in the MCU now - Black Widow is going to be a weird lull in the timeline - I'll see it but since it will be entirely set in the past, it will hold zero relevance; I like the idea of the movie...I just think they missed the window for it - Holland is fantastic, Jake was great. Hammer+shield > Thor-Rabbit-Tree > Leap of Faith Only because of the time each had leading up to it. The fact that leap of faith is being discussed with them is still impressive.
Gyllenhaal's facial expression when Tony Stark called his invention "BARF" was one of the funniest moments in MCU.
Watching Endgame clips on YouTube. Sam's facial hair bugs me. They shave his beard above the top of his jaw so it makes his face looks much smaller than it really is. Not really noticeable until the old Cap scene but every time he turns his face to the side, I can't stop looking at it.
I am truly torn on Stan Lee. I’m sad because of all the circumstances around terrible people using him during the twilight years of his life. I’m also happy because he finally got the recognition he has always deserved for: 1. His impact on pop culture and society as a whole and 2. Being a genuinely good person. RIP Stan. His death definitely hit me harder than anyone I don’t know in real life.
Watching the Marvel movies I haven’t seen yet in no particular order and last night was Ant Man and the Wasp so I was reading those pages of the thread Tonight is Capt America: The First Avenger. RIP Bucky no way he survived that fall from the train
Think I’d noticed it before but was just wrapped up in the rest of the scene. And I don’t remember it being mentioned in here.
we talked about it pages ago. everyone was all omg i can't believe they let him be on camera with his facial hair like that. it was bonkers.
