Figured you guys would like that. And to be fair, my wife was the one that checked it out of the library. She used to do that all the time before we met, and wanted to try again. Turns out they’re free with no late fees anymore, so it worked out. last night was the first time I was glad I had not donated the DVD player when we moved like I planned to
Libraries have generally moved to a no late fee model but once someone else puts a hold on the item or you’ve had it auto-renewed for like 6 months, you start getting late notices. After about four or six more months and a few more notices, they’ll charge you the replacement fee for the item. Very forgiving now. DVD’s almost assuredly have a shorter timeline and maybe not even renewable. shout out to libraries, they’re the single best public resource iyam
Team Library. Haven’t used it for Blu Rays recently but definitely have in the past. Libraries fucking rule.
“You said it yourself bitch, we’re the Guardians of the Galaxy” If only the MCU was granted 1 F bomb, this is where I would insert it.
Sunday night, Wife had not seen Spider-Man No Way Home; she isn’t one to follow anything on internet social media, she went in fresh. She nostalgia/tears throughout. Was awesome. She lost it at Garfield getting his redemption. I went down a rabbit hole with her last night watching theater/people watching for first time all of the big moments in Marvel for some reason. Spider-Man, Infinity War, Endgame, etc. It is awesome hearing that roar and having those feels all over again. If you have time to kill or need a pick me up, great to watch. “Bring me Thanos” Audience loses it. On the flip side, watching peoples first time reaction to the snap is also awesome in a weird way because of much those characters meant to people. Spider-Man telling Tony “I’m scared” hits so hard.
i sat in the theatre and stared blankly for like 30 minutes after the credits rolled. I couldn’t process what I’d seen
The...3rd?...time I saw it in theater was with my mom, who didn't know there was a part 2. We were all the way out of the theater and in the car before she finally said, "so that's it? Thanos just...won?"
i took my daughter to see it the second time and she cried we both cried after end game for different reasons Kevin Feige should be on currency
I saw IW by myself. I remember coming home and my wife telling me I look like I’d seen a ghost. I just told her I’m still in shock and I don’t know how to describe my feelings. I can’t remember a movie ever making me feel like IW did.
I was in Canada and saw it Thursday night then watched it with my family Saturday. Prepped the wife our son was gonna cry when BP got dusted. That was a rough period until the credits scene
This wouldn't surprise me but I haven't seen this reported anywhere else. https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/exclusive-andrew-garfield-marvel-spider-man.html
Couldn’t he be brought in to help with the time travel/multiverse stuff. Especially with the TVA stuff from Loki if that comes to reach back to the main timeline with Kang’s appearance. He could be introduced as the human Von Doom to help defeat Kang by defeating him in another timeline and gets his injuries/powers that way and sets up the man in metal? Reed used his teleport table to show up to the Illuminati and the TVA uses yellow versions of it so he could have gotten it from them and makes his own. Also I think there’s a brief mention of someone buying up all the land in the area where his fortress is so he may already be Doom.
Just want to say. Stern is the highest paid radio personality ever and has been doing it for four decades. Do we really think he would leak something like that with a hot mic? I’d bet on it being a troll/stunt.
