Watched it last night and still loved it Going to be angry if Angela doesn’t take home the Oscar. Also give Rihanna the Oscar for best original song (suck my dick PeterGriffin )
the stanning for the Eternals kind of had my mouth agape, as did people saying Spider-Man Far From Home sucked
Anyone who says Eternals is good and FFH is bad is not a sensible person. The former is pretending to be "fancy cinema." The latter knows it's not.
I just finished watching it for the first time. It was meh. Seemed long. Namor was great and hope he comes back.
Been meaning to do an Eternals rewatch for a bit now. I still can’t get over the fact we saw Blade tell the Black Night not to touch the Ebony Blade like 2 years ago and haven’t heard a single damn thing about any of that since.
I liked them both. I mean, Spider-Man was much better and told a more interesting story, but I'm not going to shit on Eternals for attempting something new and different.
No but this isn't elementary school. It's okay to criticize someshing for failing to be good, despite trying to be new and different.
Sorry, I wasn't meaning YOU were shitting on Eternals - I was just saying I didn't mind it and I wasn't going to be critical of it for being a bit different, which seemed to be a problem for a lot of people.
DirtBall my brother in Christ, we had a sex scene with thrusting in The Eternals. Everything about the movie just seemed titled on its axis 15%
Eternals would have worked fine if it had any actors with true charisma to latch onto. Instead it was split between however many kinda boring leads.
Actors weren’t the problem, trying to make you care about 7 different people in a span of two hours was the problem.
Better actors would have helped. And definitely not Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie as your two female leads
Both had messy third acts, but I loved the twists and turns of this one more than part 1, even though I loved the politics in the first. I think both are 9/10 movies.
If a guy hasn’t watched all the Disney+ shows, what’s essential viewing before QuantumMania. Gonna do the two Antmans, the last ep of Loki, anything else?
I mean anyone who has seen Loki should have told you Majors was gonna be the star especially considering the other cast members in Quantumania
I wonder what version(s) of Kang this actually is or how much they’ll go into that. I still think the Iron Lad might be a cameo.
Loki's version of Kang was subdued and eccentric, which made sense considering he was basically isolated for eons. I hope this one is a maniac tyrant. Someone who starts out calm, cool, and collected, but who gives off a vibe of "psycho who will suddenly snap and wreck shit" before actually doing it.
Yeah, that was “He Who Remains” who was just a bro that wanted to hang out at the end of the world (thanks Sylvie). Basically the farmer Thanos Kang version. Maybe they play this off (to the viewers) as the same Kang from Loki and then we realize it’s actually the Conqueror and shit hits the fan super fast.
Fuuuuuuuuck. Just like picking at a scab and reopening an old wound, I will be unable to resist watching this.
