Saw yesterday. Loved it. Expected deaths but actually glad they all got to move on in fulfilling ways. I cared about every single one of them, and I wanted the best for them. especially that good dog cosmo
Oh cool, I didn’t know Phyla-Vell is MoonDragon’s girlfriend so that’s neat that Drax is like her adopted dad now.
I thought Loki was supposed to be this summer originally. Maybe I'm getting my dates mixed up. Definitely not a good sign for Echo.
Yeah, think I heard summer or September. That’s why I’m wondering if it got pushed a little to do some post production maneuvering around Majors and whatever they’re doing with him.
Disney pushed back the release of the streaming service series. Secret Invasion was supposed to be out in the spring, these two series were supposed to be over the summer, Ironheart and What If aren’t releasing this year.
We talked about Loki potentially getting delayed last page. My only hope for Echo is it’s X-mas based like Hawkeye and they need to squeeze it in before the holidays. Not a good sign though.
My optimistic line of thinking is that maybe the story doesn’t lend itself well to weekly release more likely it’s just not engaging enough to keep people coming back
Just watched quantimania. So the exiled Kang the conqueror is gone and the big threat will be all the kangs? I’m confused. I never followed any of it in the comics
ok...exiled Kang along with all the other Kangs discovered the existence of the multiverse way the fuck in the future, found a way to travel within the multiverse, and founded the Council of Kangs (Rick and Morty directly stole this idea) led by a variant named Immortus. Exiled Kang realized that some of the other variants of himself was a threat to the multiverse and started to eliminate them. A war started amongst the variants and soon to be exiled Kang dubbed himself "Kang The Conqueror" and started eliminating whole time lines. Kang The Conqueror lost the variant war and ended up exiled in the Quantum Realm which exists outside of space/time. Should be noted that Kang The Conqueror is not the same Kang Variant as "He Who Remains" from the Loki series long story short, The big threat is the Council of Kangs...their fear is the increasing amount of people (Avengers) who are aware of the Multiverse and don't want anyone to fuck with their plans
GOTG 3 was great. Was in a pretty emo mood so some tears were shed. Shame that will be the last one with James Gunn but that goes down as one of the better trilogies to exist.
The more I think about it, the more they did poorly explaining all of this. I assume we'd have gotten more story leading up to Secret Wars.
yeah....everyone exists simultaneously (except the versions of you that have already died) across the Multiverse, where it gets convoluted is the Time Travel shit. You have essentially all of the Kang variants across existence all teamed up and they can navigate through any universe at literally any point in time
Just got out of GotG3. Loved it. Great ending for the trilogy. Someone was chopping onions for some odd reason . Tier 1 for me. Gunn don’t miss and I’m excited for what he’s going to do with DC.
He probably signed a new deal with Marvel, as opposed to the rest of the cast. We'll see him in Avengers
One note I’ll make about GOTG3: I’d have like to have seen a little longer evil side to Warlock. I know he wasn’t the big bad here and they did a great job juggling that story in the context of the bigger movie plot…just would have liked to have seen him setup a little more.
My guess is Kang the Conqueror comes back fully 100% powered in Kang Dynasty, and lays waste to all the Kangs. Then turns his attention to the Avengers.
It's so weird to me how everyone thinks that particular Kang is the legit Kang rather than just being a variant. That Kang was literally banished for be a reckless and idiot and he died being reckless idiot too Also the "He lost to Antman" shit is so disingenuous. He lost to a bunch of people including one of the top 5 smartest people in Marvel in Hank Pym. Does anyone think Scott Lang lasts 5 minutes against Kang on his own? Absolutely not, so people need to chill on the "He lost to ant man stuff" Plus the end scene credits kind of hints at that in the first place. The real Kang is being tracked by Loki and Mobius
