Isn't Kang Reed Richards son?
Down for a all black F4
He's an F4 villian but your thinking of Franklin Richards
Not sure how anyone mixes Kang and Franklin up. Not only do they not look a like Franklin is like vastly more powerful
Isn't Kang a purple alien?
In Marvel, that's not narrowing it down.
But yes, he's purple and blueish
Just meant he probably didn't have a human ethnicity.
Pretty sure Kang is a Terran just like the rest of us. He was born like a 1000 years in the future and has been time traveling for centuries. And there’s like a dozen forms of him because he keeps crossing and jacking up the time stream.
much like your drunk posting escapades
Kang talk reminded me of this series. It’s so good. Probably needs a re-read.
Thought they'd go with a more established big name actor. Especially if Kang is gonna be an over arching villain.
Get em while they're cheap
This dudes starting to blow up. He’ll be well known by the time the movie comes out
I love how Antman 1 was like this little, cute heist movie and then all of a sudden him and the quantum realm were a huge part of Endgame.
And now, the 3rd movie in that franchise may setup the next big bad.
“When you mess with time, it tends to mess back.”
Part of it I wonder if it's Feige trying to shore up a franchise that never really hit big box office numbers.
At first I was surprised Kang would be introduced in Ant Man, but then I realized he's going to be time traveling through the Quantum Realm. Ant Man makes perfect sense.
I just hope they don't water him down. Guy has killed the entire Avengers team before in the comics.
And yes, he is a Richards, but from the 30th century.
“You don’t really care about Antman? Boom, fuck you. Hope you watched Antman 2 and the post credits scene if you want to understand the major time travel plot of Endgame”
Ant Man has alway been my 2nd favorite Marvel “franchise” behind Captain America.
Paul Rudd is a national treasure.
I don’t think that’s a concern. I’m sure he’s okay with the first one making 500ish million and sequel making 600ish million.
Not every movie in the franchise is going to hit 1bn.
I went down a wiki hole trying to figure out who the Reeds were then I realized what happened there
They're releasing a bunch of new characters/franchises in a post-COVID entertainment market that is filled with unknowns, and won't have the original Avengers to fall back on. I'm guessing of all the things Feige/Marvel/Disney are concerned about, Ant-Man probably doesn't rank very highly on that list (if it makes the list at all).
The Ant Man movies are very entertaining and enjoyable. The small stakes are what makes them great imo. Don't need world ending fucking situations in every god damn marvel movie
Had no idea he was a descendant... Apparently there's stuff that said he could also be a descendant of Doom
Fam lets real talk
Masks? They're totally beast
So slide that into your DMs and twitch it
Spiderverse soundtrack. 10/10 would rock again.
“What are you doing!?!?”
“PETER YOU HAVE TO GO HOME!!!”
“He’s go into kill you, I can’t let Spider-Man DIE!”
“Neither can I”
“YEAH, IT...IT, IS OK”
“how do I know I won’t mess it up?”
“you won’t Man...”
“it’s a leap of faith”
Wow, always saw him as an Avengers level threat
Still can be.
I think he will just be set up in ant man 3 using the quantum realm. No way they are only using him in ant man 3
Looks like we're still getting WandaVision this year. I'm guessing Falcon & Winter Soldier (which started filming again last week) is on hold because it's somehow connected to something in Black Widow and needs to be released after it. Sounds like the BW release date is up in the air after Tenet's minimal box office.
I'm most interested in the The Right Stuff series. Hadn't heard about that.
It was my dad's favorite movie...must've watched it with him like 30 or so times. I can't wait for the series
Yeah, I read the book a year or two ago and talked about it with my FIL who was a test pilot stationed out at Edwards, albeit years later. But he knew many of those guys, the area, and a lot the equipment discussed in the book, so it was really neat talking with him about it all.
My guess would be Kang is used like Thanos in GotG. An introduction to the character but he won’t be the focus of the movie.
Still don't know why tf they thought this was a good idea...
Chris Nolan is a remarkable filmmaker, but he's also a very prideful and stubborn man.
Nolan considers himself a sort of evangelist for the traditional theatrical experience, along with shooting on film vs digital
oh yea I like that.
She doesn’t look very hulky
Neither do Ed Norton or Mark Ruffalo.
I just saw they have someone from Rick & Morty writing so should be a fun tone.
