Yeah I dabble in ranked when I got buds on. But always down to clown. Out of town until the 30th but will be playing a ton 12/30-1/4
I don’t understand how it can be such an Overwatch clone. Even the sound effects sound similar. it is fun, tho.
Used a few more characters last night: No clue how to effectively use Magneto, Black Panther, or Groot. At least Groot was fun to run around with Hawkeye infinite arrow spam is fun but gets old quick and the rest of his shit sucks. If you're on target though you'll wreck a lobby Venom is pretty fun. If Motherfucking Jeff throws me off another cliff I'm going to just be all-time Iron Man. In games we got in that had a douche bag Jeff, I'd just swap to Iron Man and basically stalk him around the map since it's easy to fuck him up while he's "underwater" from above
Mine crashed on a damn good gaming PC on the recommended settings. I put everything to the lowest settings possible and it still has some major freezes for a good 4-5 seconds
I love having 25k heals/10k damage as Mantis and losing because my Spiderman goes 1-10 with 6k damage. I'll never get out of Gold and it's the worst
They need to do something about class limits. Fucking hate going tank and then having just a team full of shitty DPS. Every game I win has 2-2-2 tank dps heals or sometimes 1-3-2. The morons who pick dps to make it 1-4-1 just like to lose. So fucking frustrating. Feel like ranking up in competitive might help but last night I kept getting stuck with morons
Not sure if I'm just terrible and can't figure the game out but my performance varies so much game to game and I feel like I'm not really doing anything differently
That's me with Rocket. I'll drop 30k solo healing no problem with 10-15k damage and just existing in Silver 1.
Matchmaking isn’t too great at the moment. It feels like most games are stomps one way or the other. It will probably even out as time goes on. I finished diamond one at the end of season 0 and I’m really missing the ban system right now. Storm and the hulk-iron man team up are so strong. Support ults are also ridiculous in this game. I think Luna’s ult time needs to be cut in half, it lasts for 11 seconds of near invincibility.
There's way too many characters for a noob like me. Especially one who doesn't follow Marvel. No clue where to even begin.
Wife and kid are going out of town this weekend so I plan on jumping in on this. Of course I’m going to use Hulk to start with but they have character tier lists. I plan on just using characters I like. https://www.ign.com/articles/marvel-rivals-tier-list-best-characters
Is there a mode that makes it easy to learn? I assume there’s more to the game than Hauk Tuah-ing with Jeff all game long.
There’s a tutorial. I started it but going to run through it again before I hop into quick play. I played the shit out of Overwatch back in the day so hopefully I can remember and figure out how to make a good team member.
Wasn’t sure if there was a way to try out differnt characters or just quick play until you figure out what style/player you like
My company sent out an email that warned employees that the patch system for the game introduced a bunch of security vulnerabilities that the devs hadn't worked out yet. I'm sure laying off a bunch of the team partially responsible for the game probably isn't going to speed that up.
really interested to see where the game goes long term. 1 hero per month is gonna be wild. should feel far more alive than overwatch ever did unless you were really into owl (i was). devs seem to really know exactly what they're doing (mostly).
Will they be removing characters? For somebody who doesn’t follow Marvels, it’s overwhelming trying to choose a character.
