At the current output of projects I have more faith in Dune 2 being good than The Marvels iwbph.

 

is there anyone that thinks Dune 2 will be anything short of amazing?

 

Dune 2 deserves special theaters over the Marvels even if Marvel was still rolling.

 

Is IMAX usually a big deal for Marvel movies?

 

Not really

 

Pretty obvious that the next big arc of the MCU will be the Mutant Saga, no?

 

Hopefully the mutants saga resets and retconns the shitshow that was Secret Invasion, otherwise we can pretty much declare the MCU as having jumped the shark and dead

Deadpool 3

 

Watched GotG3 on D+ last night. Only saw it once in the theater and liked it then. Weird movie. I really like the story and soundtrack, but the High Evolutionary guy is so over the top and it's really weird as it goes on. And I like the Gamora stuff in general but also kind of seems over the top and unnecessary for me, too.

Agreed. The movie series focused around a talking Raccoon and a Fucking anthropomorphic tree just got way too weird for me. Wtf!?

Just to make sure it's said, I like the movie. As I said, I thought the story was great. I just think the performance of the villain is weird and kind of sucked, and the difference between the Gamoras doesn't really make sense to me based on the timelines of when they arrived.

 

Fleeing the country seems like something an innocent person would do…

And the call back in the latest movie. He wasn’t 100% ready for the leap, that’s why his fingers stuck and broke the window. In the latest when Miguel tells him he’s not and wasn’t supposed to be Spider-Man he has the same thing happen jumping from that train but it was really small.

 

Just finished the first at home rewatch of AtS. Fuck it’s so fucking good.
