All marvel tv IP peaked at Zemo dancing. It’s been a gradual decline from there my friends
Hell, Jack Kirby couldn’t have even imagined Daniel Bruhl’s genius of that scene.
Kevin’s got to hit the practice field to find his fastball again. This is crazy. The whole things going to shit.
At the current output of projects I have more faith in Dune 2 being good than The Marvels iwbph.
is there anyone that thinks Dune 2 will be anything short of amazing?
Dune 2 deserves special theaters over the Marvels even if Marvel was still rolling.
Is IMAX usually a big deal for Marvel movies?
Pretty obvious that the next big arc of the MCU will be the Mutant Saga, no?
Hopefully the mutants saga resets and retconns the shitshow that was Secret Invasion, otherwise we can pretty much declare the MCU as having jumped the shark and dead
Tobey Maguire is a 1st ballot Marvel HOFer
there is no MCU without his sacrifice
It is to Disney’s pocketbooks. They flood the specialty screens for the more expensive tickets.
And they didn’t give him any lines with Dafoe
It’s go time
Just started it. First time seeing it
The NSTB fight scene still slaps. My TV struggles with dark scenes so some of the final act on the ship didn’t come off as well as in theater.
Oh loved it. Will watch again
Rumor mill is saying Galactus will be the villain in F4, and obviously include Silver Surfer.
The Galactus character doesn’t need a Thanos/Kang style arc, he’s fine as a one off villain despite where he ranks in the Marvel villain hierarchy. And that’s certainly a tone setter for the F4 if that’s who they’re dealing with.
Days of Future Past is fucking fantastic
Fassbender is fucking god as Erik Lehnsherr
If Fassbender can continue to be Magneto in any future X-Men iterations, that would be great.
Man, I was for sure he was going to show up in the WandaVision finale. Those were the days.
Watched GotG3 on D+ last night. Only saw it once in the theater and liked it then. Weird movie. I really like the story and soundtrack, but the High Evolutionary guy is so over the top and it's really weird as it goes on. And I like the Gamora stuff in general but also kind of seems over the top and unnecessary for me, too.
Agreed. The movie series focused around a talking Raccoon and a Fucking anthropomorphic tree just got way too weird for me. Wtf!?
Yes, because that's obviously what I meant when I said that. You got me.
Just to make sure it's said, I like the movie. As I said, I thought the story was great. I just think the performance of the villain is weird and kind of sucked, and the difference between the Gamoras doesn't really make sense to me based on the timelines of when they arrived.
Give me a whole Disney+ series of Erik going Simon Wiesenthal on Nazis in Argentina
but season 2 is about Erik working the factories in Poland
Fleeing the country seems like something an innocent person would do…
Good for them.
Hopefully that'll spread across the industry.
If Endgame had been made today Thanos would look like a purple ps3 character. These movies need more time in every phase of development.
Across the Spider Verse has dropped. and i can completely understand the opening scene.
Drax’s monkey noises were laugh out loud funny.
Is it streaming somewhere? Apple TV still has it as pre-order.
No Sleep Till Brooklyn / Hallway Fight
top 10 MCU scene.
not there with Cap catching the spear or On Your Left.
but in the pantheon with Immigrant Song/Bridge
I thought it came out tomorrow.
When miles take the leap. That’s just elite movie making
what’s up danger
That shot of him upside down taking the dive is one of my favorite shots in any movie.
And the call back in the latest movie. He wasn’t 100% ready for the leap, that’s why his fingers stuck and broke the window. In the latest when Miguel tells him he’s not and wasn’t supposed to be Spider-Man he has the same thing happen jumping from that train but it was really small.
Just finished the first at home rewatch of AtS. Fuck it’s so fucking good.
Pay the writers guild and all of them their money, now.
Well, not the ones that worked on the Witcher but otherwise I agree.
