I loved Pratt in Guardians 1. But his performance has annoyed me ever since. Can’t really explain why. RDJ, Evans, and Cumberbatch were great
I've been saying in here for a while that my two least favorite Guardians characters were Quill and Gamora. As funny as the scene at the end of End Game was with Quill and Thor, I think it's going to be kind of odd if they just run it back in GotG3 with Quill as the leader and Rocket going back to what he was before. Rocket probably grew as much as any MCU character from the start of IW to the end of EG.
Fuck it. Kill off Quill, make Gamora more interesting or kill her too. Run it back with Groot, Rocket, Drax, Mantis, and Nebula. Include Thor occasionally because we all need more Chris Hemsworth in our lives
Drax in Guardians 2 and IW became too much of a caricature imo. Sure he was still funny, but seemed like they tried too hard to make him only funny and nothing else.
I think part of me kind of forgot that the original Gamora that loved Quil and had had a breakthrough with Nebula, is dead. New Gamora had her own little breakthrough, but she's not going to instantly love Peter again, so their dynamic should be pretty different(if/when they find her again?). I can fucks with a movie of Nebula-Gamora proper asskicking team up though.
Been off Pratt since he made the transition from goofy chubby guy to full blown action star. He's just seemed like a prick the last few years and joining that crazy church hasn't helped.
Yeah that church thing has really ruined it for me. Which sucks bc he was great as Andy Dwyer. He's on Tom Cruise level.
I just think he's too proper to do the character right. Wolverine is a short, stout, gruff, angry little Canadian. Henry Cavill is suave, stylish, James Bond-esque Brit. It just doesn't compute.
What do they mean "could I see him as any other superhero other than Superman"? I don't even see him as Superman #NeverSnyderDC
Similar to how some actors can wear platforms or lifts in their shoes to appear taller, maybe Cavill can cut off his feet to appear short enough to satisfy the 's.
