Yeah I agree with you on that. Plus, the kid from Ready Player One would be a solid continuation of Cyclops — whose character was nonexistent in most of the films besides the last movie which sucked.
I'm a shareholder in Disney and this is the email I received: The talks were no longer active by Monday afternoon when CNBC first reported them, according to one of these people. They were very preliminary and broke down over price and other key deal terms, according to another person. Included in the assets Disney would acquire was Fox's 39% stake in Sky PLC, the U.K.-based pay-television giant, this person added. Fox has bid $15.5 billion to buy the rest of Sky to help expand its global media empire, but the deal has been held up by the U.K. government as it continues to review whether the acquisition would put too much power in the hands of one media company. The Fox assets under discussion could bolster Disney's struggling television business, significantly increasing its exposure to foreign markets in which Fox has a stronger presence. It also would provide additional content for a streaming service Disney is planning to launch in the next two years. Fox assets Disney didn't discuss buying included its broadcast-television network, local stations and sports channels, this person said. Fox shares quickly rose more than 5% on news of the talks, while Disney stock was up less than 1%.
I did see Feige said Korg and Miek will for sure return to the MCU. I would love a Korg-Miek animated series.
Hugh Jackman had said once he would be willing to play Wolverine again if he got to start in a crossover movie with the Avengers. Could you imagine the movie if this deal was done before Infinity War came out? Just take all my money.
I would like to hear this too. I watched in RPX, but not 3D, and will be going back and might see it in 3D.
Saw it tonight. Loved it, as expected. A couple lingering thought/questions, but I’ll get to them when I’m not on mobile.
Is Thor going to wear an eye patch from here on out? I can't imagine how many pirate jokes we're going to get in Infinity War
I think we got proof here that an all-Hulk movie would be really tough to pull off. This was a decent substitute for Planet Hulk and nice that they got at least part of Hulk’s team involved, in Korg and Miek. The version of Hulk the MCU using is just a little too simple to carry a movie. There’s no way Loki left the tessarect in the vault when he went back in at the end, right? Thanos eventually just picking it out of space seems too easy. Kind of saddened by Odin’s death not really being an event. I know the MCU used it as the catalyst for Hela’s return, but I always thought Thanos killing him would be a good barometer of the Titan’s power. Along with that, tying into the mythology that Ass Guard is based on, I’d have liked to have seen Fenrir do a little more damage. I thought Heimdal was going to be the source of the last infinity stone, but I really have no idea of its origin now. BP is the only movie before the first IW, and I can’t imagine them having it. Curious if they’ll reform mjolnir. Strange has done it in the comics, and in the comic version of Ragnarok, it reforms itself and falls to earth.
I would rank soup stone possibilities as: 1) Wakanda. 2) Thanos already has it (ragnarok was 2 yrs after AoU, a long time to hunt stones) 3)Adam Warlock shows up early in IW with it.
Sigh...Infinity Stone reset Loki grabbed the Tesseract in Thor 3 which houses the Blue Space stone The red Reality Stone was intrusted to The Collector at the end of Thor 2 The yellow Mind Stone has been incorporated into The Vision in Avengers 2 The purple Power Stone was intrusted to the Nova Corps in GOTG The Green Time Stone is housed in the Eye of Agamotto, currently in possession of Dr. Strange The last Stone, the Orange Soul Stone...TBD who knows what the MCU guys have planned. Could already be in the possession of Thanos. Maybe an Adam Warlock introduction, maybe introduced in the possession of the Wakandans in the upcoming Black Panther movie
Why not? The "panther god" and "talking to the spirit of all black panthers before" is the perfect premise for the soul gem, as well as how Wakanda got so technologically advanced
Its a pretty baller theory if you think about it, with the soul gem, each new Wakandan king/Panther basically gains the combined knowledge of their entire civilization from the previous generations.
They're an advanced country because of exporting vibranium and using that money to reinvest in protecting the country from people stealing vibranium. They also use that money to import super smart people to teach the Wakandans. I'm hoping some huge cosmic/dimensional character like Dormammu is in possession of the Soul Stone, and Thanos takes it from them.
It’s looking less likely, but I still like the theory Heimdall possesses the Soul Gem. It really explains his powers, and also the fact Skurge wasn’t able to copy his abilities when he was in charge of the Bifrost. He’s also on the ship with Thor and Loki. Loki obviously has the Tesseract. Thanos showing up at the end means he would get two of the Gems at one time. Also helps explain why the Guardians picked up Thor in space. He had two eyes in the scene, but I’m going to assume that was just Disney trying to hide any possible spoilers, like they did when they edited the trailers.
I don’t think they’d let Thanos get 2 stones that easily from that ship with Loki most likely having the tesseract
If memory serves, After Thor took Surtur’s crown, he called several times for the Bifrost to be open, Skurge was completely oblivious to this
But wasn't there some sort of blinking light indicator that Skurge did not see, but the womenfolk he was entertaining did see?
Thor and Loki made it. I doubt they’d kill Heimdall, and I read there’s more plans for Korg and Meik.
Ugh, if your dad was a Panther you now have the image of fucking your mom burned into your psyche. I’d be pretty violent too, tbh
