So apparently phase 4 will introduce the Eternals. http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/marvel-will-announce-eternals-movie-soon/
There is always a bigger fish. But really, I guess the end game is to keep introducing stronger and stronger entities in the Marvel universe? While also keeping the fan favorites and more "normal" characters involved. Admittedly, my comics knowledge isn't very strong where the super advanced/cosmic/god characters are concerned. Adding the x-men will probably help keep story lines going for a while. Combined with spiderman characters, non-mainstream like GOTG, plus the other established people and newly introduced (black panther, etc), I suppose they could keep the MCU going strong for at least another decade or two. Right?
Mrs. Celemo loves the MCU as much as I do, possibly more. She is a nightmare to watch these movies with in the theater though. She's been known to bounce in her seat and clutch/slap the person next to her excitedly anytime there's action. I refuse to sit next to her and my kids fight over who has to sit next to her
Sounds like the rando I sat next to for Last Jedi. She was on the edge of her seat half the movie and jumping up and down in her seat during big parts. I thought it was endearing and she was kind of cute, so I had a half chub during the credits when she turned to tell me how great it was.
b t dubs, I picked up my Infinite War ticket today. Friday matinee in a reserved seating Dolby digital theatre with reclining chairs.
This is mine if it's after dark. To her credit, she hasn't done that in a while, and usually saves questions until we're in the car afterward. She did ask me who the giant ship at the end of Ragnarok belonged to though. I gave her a quick, "Thanos" and she responded "Who?" so I just ignored her.
Too bad it was a night time showing and the courthouse was closed so you couldn't immediately file for divorce.
iron man 2 is awful i am committed to this watch so i will power through but this movie fucking blows
Yep. A few other notable improvised scenes in MCU: - In Ant-Man, most of Paul Rudd’s scenes with Judy Greer and many of them with Micheal Peña - In The Incredible Hulk (Norton), the entire end credit scene with Robert Downey Jr and William Hurt - In Captain America: First Avenger, Hayley Atwell reaching up and touching Chris Evans’s chest when he first becomes Cap. - In The Avengers, Robert Downey Jr’s suggestion they go get shawarma (which then also became an end credit scene) - In Thor: Dark World, Chris Hemsworth hanging Thor’s hammer on the coat rack when he enters the apartment
watching hulk now poor ty burrell. imagine having a nice friday night with your girl and all of a sudden her ex who’s the hulk just shows up outta nowhere to cuck you
My favorite theater moment for any Marvel movie was during Avengers when Cap is giving instructions during the invasion and he says, “And Hulk...” and in the brief pause this little six year old dude behind me with all the enthusiasm in the world yells out, “Smash!”
Kinda takes your mind off the stalker sitting 5 rows behind you watching you whenever you’re in public
During one of my (many) theater screenings, a kid (I’d say 8-10 yrs old) yelled “smash!” and couldn’t stop cracking up while Hulk was smashing. It’s moments like that when you really get these movies and how they can turn us all into kids.
hahaha. I just realized I bought Winter Soldier on BluRay through the Disney movie club and never watched it. Gonna have to fix that.
So far the wife has watched IM 2 Avengers Gotg Gotg 2 Civil war Dr strange Ant man Black panther And parts of Thor Ragnarok I think finishing Ragnarok and watching Winter soldier and AOU would be enough for infinity war Thoughts?
Why would she watch Civil War before Winter Soldier or Ultron? Going from Avengers to Civil War with nothing in the middle would be really confusing
