I noticed she had yellow guns. In the theater, I thought they were tasers. In screenshot, I see that they’re water pistols.
Yeah that over the top Cajun/patois accent was glorious. Hope with how well it’s been received we get to see more of it. The memes have been pretty elite too
Brain before the movie: it is pandering slop that engages the synapses of your brain that somehow still function just because you recognize references and characters from 90s movies you thought were horrible. it is appealing to the lowest common denominator of your psyche. During the movie: Oh fuck Blade and Elektra, oh shit Channing Tatum finally playing Gambit. I like the ugly dog, I love Madonna. This is awesome. Hugh Jackman was excellent in this too, could have mailed it in but treated the dramatic bits just as seriously as he did in Logan and it elevated the film
I’ve seen some knocks on the cgi from the Deadpool’s fight scene but I’d like to point out that they definitely maxed their “brain-fingering” budget because that shit gave me the creeps every time she did it.
Stand by my assessment that using Stark as Ironman is box office grabbing but I'm also not going to pretend that RDJ isn't worthy of the VVD role.
Won’t get that 2 billion mark without Auntie T though. Ryan and Blake are much better humans than me because I would have guilt tripped her into doing it for the $$$$.
Feel like Thunderbolts has a chance to be the new GOTG, in terms of surprisingly lovable characters from a low-tier popularity comics.
The writing team behind it has me very excited for this. Beef and bear both do a great job at making you invested in characters, especially ones with deep flaws
