Think he's just saying how they're borrowing a lot from the Morales storyline to avoid rehashing the same old Uncle Ben story
I'm also saying that when they eventually launch a Miles Morales movie, Ganke had better be in it even though they put a Ganke look-alike in this movie. BTW, I looked it up and the character in this movie is called Ned Leeds and is a character who was in the spidey comics in the 60s. Even though this is Ned Leeds in the comics: This is the actor from the clip: And this is Ganke from the comic books:
I'm not the biggest Spider-Man fan, especially after choosing a Los Angeles queer over fellow New Yorker and, you know, WWII hero and incredible person Captain America, but I like the idea of Homecoming. A teenage angst movie with a super hero that is too young but desperately wants to participate in what we all know is to come. Stark is going to get him killed and spiral out of control at some point.
In an explosive special event run, he kills Danny Wuerffel and gets his ability to throw the perfect corner fade
Bobby is Galactus. Like, he can beat him, just not consistently. Y'all young bucks don't know how awesome late 90s FSU-Florida was. Meanwhile, Miami is Squirrel Girl Chica
Sony has already set a date for a sequel to Homecoming. This isn't a shock as Sony has tanked at the box office recently with Spidey being their only legit tentpole. I just hope Marvel is still on board creatively. http://deadline.com/2016/12/spider-man-homecoming-2-bad-boys-4-1201867983/
http://deadline.com/2016/12/spider-man-homecoming-2-bad-boys-4-1201867983/ EXCLUSIVE: Based on the success of the global trailer launch yesterday for Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Culver City studio has announced that its sequel Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will open on Friday, July 5, 2019.
Would have been bone stupid to do so. 99% of the people who would go see this movie know spidey as Peter Parker and don't want to see someone else as Spider-Man.
Disagree. Folks are plenty interested in new stories as proven by dr strange, ant man, and guardians. It would be an even bigger hit imo.
I noticed Deadpool not listed on anyone's top 10 a few pages back... Do you guys not consider it part of the MCU?
I don't consider it part of the MCU since Marvel doesn't own the film rights and thus It's not part of the MCU
gotcha... I'm just catching up on backlogged movies and got to X-Men apocalypse and Deadpool and noticed they weren't on those list. Thanks.
Fox is F4. And all I really want MCU to get from F4 is really Doom, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Reed, and the Skrulls.
Come home tonight and Spider-Man 2 is on. Easily in the Tier 1 of all comic book movies. Molina as Doc Ock was such perfect casting.
Not big on comics, but years down the road an Illuminati movie that pulls from all of the different IPs would be: A) awesome B) nearly impossible without centralized ownership of the complete MCU
Gotta agree with you on that. It was a great film. Great villain. Stands above Spiderman, and mountains above that piece of shit film Spiderman 3.
