Sony owns all the rights to Spider-Man characters. Sony is making an animated Miles Morales movie now.
Reviews for GOTG2 dropped today. Currently sitting at 90% fresh on RT. General consensus I've seen from reviews are it's good, but not on the same leve as the first and suffers from pacing issues.
Yea but GOTG2 will have Baby Groot scenes where he like chases a bug while the rest of the team fights a giant space squid so GOTG2 wins.
Whatever David Edelstein says and he's usually spot-on. The Variety review essentially said it was good, not great like the first one.
Rotten tomatoes summary Critic Consensus: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's action-packed plot, dazzling visuals, and irreverent humor add up to a sequel that's almost as fun -- if not quite as thrillingly fresh -- as its predecessor.
That's very good considering it's the sequel. There's usually a reason you read interviews with directors saying their inspiration for the sequel they're working on was Empire Strikes Back, The Godfather II and The Dark Knight. So bravo for GOTG.
so excited about Thor that it is tough to get hyped for GoG or Spiderman, despite how excited I was 3 months ago.
So Infinity War part 1 will be which villain? Or do they face off against Thanos in both part(s) 1 and 2?
Thanos and the Black Order I don't care what they're saying - this is still essentially a 2 part movie
GOTG2/Infinity War spoilers Spoiler GOTG2 takes place only a few months after part one, which means it happens even before Age of Ultron. Apparently when the team arrives on earth to fight Thanos they will have a different look and feel, being four years in the future from the last time we saw them. also Feige said no title for IW part two yet because the title is a mild spoiler

I feel the need to watch Scott Pilgrim vs. the World now. Had the future Captain America and Captain Marvel in it, the former Superman and former Punisher, directed by Ant-Man writer Edgar Wright. Then throw in some Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
