Movie was good as fuck. Spoiler Definitely saw the Mysterio twist coming but it was still great. So many good things. Martin Starr and JB Smoove are hilarious as the teachers. I love Led Zeppelin absolutely killed me

Why is everything in my life piled on top of itself right now? Only 1/2 through Bra-Arg, had to pause to watch Mex-Hai live, had to watch USWNT late. Have to watch the royals game and firework show tomorrow, then USMNT, then Sporting game at like 2 AM just so I can’t get to Spidey at 11 AM on the Fourth....
Honestly, I prefer a buffer of a day or two before spoilers are posted. I frequent this thread as often, if not more, than any on TMB. The opening night of some releases I honestly forget it is happening before I click on the thread
Spoiler Multiple people threw their hands up and yelled “Yes!” when Jameson popped up. It was awesome. Spider-Man should definitely be leading the way as far as the Avengers go.

Spoiler Peter building the new Spider-suit was so awesome. He is the new Tony. Might catch flack for this- didn’t get that feeling with Captain Marvel/Black Panther in terms of the new characters that have been added on. I think that scene cemented him as the leader of the Avengers. Give me a movie with Dr. Strange & Spider-Man vs. Mysterio.
Spoiler Peter making the suit like Tony does brought so many emotions. I think Peter/Tom being the next one is very meta. I think the creators, Robert, etc. knew Tom is the future. He is a fucking great actor, so charismatic and still so damn young. RDJr has an ego, and around Tom he know he's the future.. This has always been my thought, and I'm fucking sold after this film.
Spoiler Mysterio was predictable, but they executed it perfectly. It was superbly well done. He isn't dead. And I love Tom & Jake's chemistry... Jake might be a great returning villain for him
I’ve had a good bit of time to rehash... Spoiler it was really good. The action sequences were amazing. I love how the marvel crew also went with the new age times and incorporated drones as the real light and magic behind Mysterio. That was brilliant. The comedy was great throughout also... but my god, Tom Holland and Jake together were amazing. The chemistry was probably some of the best in a Marvel movie since that they have done. But in the end, what made this movie so great was the action sequences together especially with the spider sense and how it all flowed together through the movie. They really did do a terrific job of it all. The visuals had me floored and how well they actually did Spider Man doing spider man things. Outstanding. It was like he was learning on the fly while adapting to a new role of “the new main big main avenger character”. One question, don’t get me wrong, the awkward crush between MJ and PP is great, but I’m slightly confused as I don’t think I remember this version of MJ in the comics? Or are they just trying to spice things up because the red headed popular hot girl from a broken home has been outplayed so much?
Not sure if this is a controversial opinion or not, but there's probably only like 3 MCU movies I can say are better than Spiderverse.
