Ritchie's style played to that genre perfectly and he wrong Sherlock really well. And most of his movies are pretty well-received, even if he's kind of like Sorkin - most people either like his entire catalog or don't care for anything he does. As for Gambit, I forgot it became cool to dislike him since Hollywood has failed miserably at trying to get him on the silver screen. And I don't really know if he deserves a feature film(unless you were going to reboot x-men and do origin stories for each of the members you were going to make the team up of, like they have the JLA/Avengers), but he was one of my favorite characters growing up.
I totally understand Robert Downey Jr wanting/ready to take the Iron Man suit off, before as he said, it becomes "embarrassing." But, he himself is Tony Stark. Kinda like Johnny Depp has almost become Jack Sparrow. I speculate if it's too late? Hopefully Downey's career post-Iron Man isn't full of one movie bomb after another like Depp currently, until Downey returns in 8-10 years to reprise the role of Stark.
Oh man, Gambit has one of the best stories in the X-Mem universe imo. They could focus on Remy working for Nathaniel Essex, Marauders and killing the Morlocks until Gambit rescues one (Marrow).
I love Gambit, he made the GOAT animated series. However, like I said about Hulk earlier ITT, he is not the type of character who can carry a solo movie.

You could reasonably do multiple posters. Would be cool if there were another poster with a lot of the other heroes, and then one with the villains.
You know, when people say their body isn't ready for random shit they're interested and it's dumb. I legit feel my body isn't ready for the Infinity War. That shit is going to be insane.
I would like to amend my earlier prediction about who dies and add Hawkeye to the list. I forgot about him.
When the parent dies in a Disney movie, it is the parents of a main character and used at a catalyst for their emotional development. I can't remember one time where the parent was the main character who had the emotional investment with the audience and was the character who died leaving a grieving family. I could be wrong, but Hawkeye was already used a death bait in AoU. I don't think they kill him off now.
All the more reason to kill him. Evoke more emotion. Plus its not like he's gonna get him own movie or anything.
