Feige, do Onslaught as a main bad you coward. (it's all i've ever wanted for 20 years since I got into comics)
Fucking Thundebolt Ross. Bitch ass failed his way up to Secretary of State, then he presents the accords...”look at this damage!!!” Without that damage the entire world would of ended multi times over you bitch. And Stark the fuck boi just sits there’s agreeing with it. SMDH
“THE FUTURIST GENTLEMAN!!! The futurist is here, he ‘see’s’ all...he knows what’s best for you. Whether you like it or not...”
Gotta give props to Buck. Decided to live in Vienna, the city home to the biggest peace treaty ever, just in case a super hero treaty decided to follow suit.
Civil War is awesome, but there are a few things that really bug me about it. Ross is at the top of that list. I've probably seen it 15 times, and every time Ross gives that speech I want to yell at my TV. Especially when he says "Do you know where Thor and Banner are? If I misplaced a few nukes you can bet there'd be consequences." There are about 5 different ways that statement is ridiculous. Cannot believe no one stepped in to tell the Russo bros. that was a stupid idea. I would have accepted Justin Hammer as Secretary of Defense over what they gave Ross.
Okay, anybody on our side hiding any shocking and fantastic abilities they'd like to disclose? I'm open to suggestions.
I’m too busy being a nervous wreck with the Manchester Derby and then the MLS Cup final today. If Michigan didn’t have to cancel, I may have died today
I think that no matter the spread, no matter the records; every year I wake up with my stomach in knots
I wonder if Shaun's wife can tell who celebs are by just their dick pics like Shaun does with reddit girls.
I let a few people in on my trick but it was actually just super super easy before gfycat removed nsfw stuff
Confused by this MCU villain discussion. Did the comic book guys not like Thanos as the big bad? He's one of my all time favs. #Thanoswasright
It’s funny that I worked with 2 giant comic book nerds who were both in their late 60s and both laughed at the idea of Thanos being the big bad. I think they missed out on his resurgence in the comics but before that he wasn’t what they saw him as.
Not to call out anyone’s level of “comic nerdiness,” but Thanos has been a “big bad” in the comics since he was introduced. Granted, Infinity Gauntlet Saga took him to a new level, but he was always a cosmic threat.
I think he was pretty cheesy in the 70s and 80s titles (see Thanos-copter). Thanos Quest and the Infinity War saga were early 90s and turned him into the bad ass we know. Infinity came out like 5 years ago and cemented him as a legend and one of their elite villains.
Not really and these are die hards who lived read comics way before that time frame. He wasn’t Galactus or Doom or Magneto until after the Gauntlet Saga. Which was released in the early 90s(?) they had 40 years of comic book reading before that so it makes sense to me.
Counterpoint. Squirrel Girl defeats everyone. Pretty sure she took a selfie with galactus once just to gain some insta followers.
One of my favorite EMH lines, in the second to last episode. Terrax and the Heralds have set up and Galactus is draining the Earths energy. Spidey: “Thai is the end of the world, I’m freaking out, why aren’t you freaking out!!!” Cap: “Because I can hear it.” Spidey: “HEAR WHAT!?” Cap: “.....thunder”
