damn dudes did not know we were spoiling Loki in here
I have no idea what you're talking about.
good then I must have misunderstood something
Damn I'm ready for that Spiderman trailer right now.
That Sylvie/Loki sex scene was wild!
Especially when Mephisto joined
Sylvie's dick was huge! Loki hadn't been choked like that since the beginning of Infinity War.
Coffee just came out of my nose
Now I know why they call him Me-fist-o
Guys that Italian Spider-Man reveal was something else. Didn’t see it coming.
Thank god my grandchildren can't read.
That’s what Loki said!
Just watched black widow. I’ll preface this by saying I’ve enjoyed every marvel movie including this one but I’d would easily rank black widow in the bottom tier of marvel movies. Think it’s like others have mentioned but this needed to come out before we were dealing with super powerful gods, aliens and space.
Loki on the other hand was awesome.
I think we are at a point where we almost need a couple different squads going forward. BW, Regular ass human Cap, Hawkeye. I'm not sure how they are going to hang anymore.
Vanilla humans would be like Krillin, Tien & Yamcha in later episodes of DBZ.
the same way everyone else does who can't do the heavy kidding. They'll supervise!!
Saw it last night. Enjoyable but tough to be super invested when there aren’t larger stakes. Doing this in line with the real timeline would have made it better.
Loved Harbour and Pugh. Honestly, from all the “Jason Bourne of the MCU”, I was expecting more.
Also, I’m still an absolute stan for Rachel Weisz.
Man, I thought it was great. The Bourne Avenger for sure, but a fun, entertaining movie with some weight to it.
I don't think it was all that close to being as good as the first three Bourne movies, but I do think there are some similarities in terms of the type of movie it was. I also don't think "not on the same level as a the main Bourne movies" is all that negative, because I fucking loves those movies.
I guess I just don't really get the "stakes" thing. To each their own, but I'd rather have a story like this in the MCU than a generic "the world is going to end if the title character doesn't stop them" movie every time. I think the third act with the villain in this movie could have been a lot better, but I like that they tried this route with BW instead of something bigger.
Yea team we have to throw in more personal stories. Every movie can’t be cataclysmic.
the comics tell small stories while big shit is going on all the time
we need a trailer for Grifter
Well, and I don’t just mean the stakes of the individual movie. But knowing Nat’s death takes something away, too.
Obviously, the chances Nat dies in the course of her own movie is nil but it definitely feels like the only real peril is for the ancillary characters that you grow to like in the course of the movie.
I had no issue with the “scale” of the movie.
Tom represents my hopes this fucking trailer is ever released
‘Black Widow’ Posts Steepest 2nd Weekend B.O. Drop For Disney MCU Title; Studio Silent On PVOD Update As Piracy Impacts Pic
Warners suffering the same dip. It's too easy to torrance a movie that releases on a streaming site, and people in areas more impacted by Covid might be tempted to just stay home and download the movie. Also I bet a lot of Disney+ subscribers were even more willing to download Black Widow since they were already paying for D+ and didn't think they ought to pay extra for one movie.
That last part.
They need to fix the $30 price. Even if they slowly raise the price of the monthly sub to make up for it. I MIGHT pay 20..
It makes sense if you are a family of 3 or 4 or something similar But if I’m buy myself or it’s not something my boys are interested in then $30 is ridiculous.
Does $30 get you BW one time? Or does it get you the movie forever for that one-time fee?
As many times as you want for one time fee.
i'm 4 of 6 episodes into Loki and i like it a lot (mainly because Hiddleston is so good and the character is so fun).
Not suer i really understand how things work with the show but it's enjoyable to watch so far.
$30 is perfectly reasonable IMO.
If I buy tickets on the weekend or evening it’s going to be nearly $25 for my wife and I to go. How is it bad to be $5 more and I can watch as many times as I want for 3 months plus can watch at home and pause?
Yeah, $30 Disney+ is going to be the way to go for most family movies going forward.
Took the wife and kids to see Black Widow last weekend and tickets alone were $40. Then we spent another $30-$40 on snacks/drinks.
Unless it's a movie I'm seeing by myself or if it's some big budget blockbuster that necessitates a Dolby Digital experience, I'm going to push to watch at home if the option is available.
My tickets for 2 at AMC to see Black Widow on a Saturday night were 13.50 the fuck theaters are y’all going to
$13.50 total for 2 tickets? Do you live in 1996?
There is a theater nearby they does $5 Tuesdays though. That would make it make sense if you aren’t buying snacks
amc does that for Tuesday’s by me. Not sure if it’s still open or does it still
Ya if I have a family? $30 is worth it
Or they are all in the hospital with covid and can't go to the theaters.
Place where I grew up still has their max prices at $6. If you go before noon it is $2.5 and between noon and 6 it is $4.
Pretty absurd granted the quality sacrifices obviously.
I think they were just trying to get butts in seats so they could sell snacks
Theater I go to has $5 Tuesdays. End of 2019 they did a $20 for 4 tickets for any movie from Sept-Dec. Was only on Sundays. Was pretty sweet. Bought your 4 tickets ahead of time and cashed them in whenever
It's me and my wife. $30 is great for us. Have to find a sitter, etc. Bought BW, made dinner, paused halfway through to clean up. Was pretty great experience
Regal has a new thing similar to movie pass. It's 20 bucks. Was about to pull the trigger on that until I realized they'd switched from coke to pepsi products. Now I'm just undecided.
Franchise in roooins.
