I watched it with my 2 daughters. They cried when Nat died and during the female avengers kick ass 45 seconds they both grabbed my arm and I may have never been happier in a moment
Not sure any line from a movie will ever make me feel the way "on your left" did in the theater opening night. IW might be a better movie, but that was such a weird experience leaving the theater compared to EG. We all knew Thanos was going over in IW, but the way they did it had me in a trance at 1 in the morning walking out of that movie. End Game was the complete opposite.
Biggest gut punch cry for me moment was "Your dad liked hamburgers too" "...I'll get you all the hamburgers you want..."
It’s important to remember the same guy that butchered that quote also (incorrectly) doesn’t think IM3 is the best IM movie
“Hey Mr Stark, can you hear me? It’s me, it’s Peter, hey, we won Mr Stark, we won, we won Me Stark, you did it, you did it sir, we won....”
Its Agents of SHIELD. Some guy turns himself in to “modok” or the other way around on a Russian nuclear sub while the agents were stuck in the framework. Something like that.
Other cheeseburgers significance from a USA today article https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/04/avengers-endgame-tony-stark-cheeseburgers-hidden-meaning "But, there’s a surprisingly moving backstory to the reason cheeseburgers are associated with Tony Stark, and it has to with Robert Downey Jr.’s troubled history of drug addiction. According to a 2008 interview aggregated from The NY Daily News, Downey Jr. says Burger King’s cheeseburgers helped push him to get clean and get started on the path of recovery. “I have to thank Burger King,” he said. “It was such a disgusting burger I ordered. I had that, and this big soda, and I thought something really bad was going to happen.” Downey Jr. The article goes on to say that Downey Jr., who had previously served jail time for drug charges, then threw all the “dope” he had in his car into the ocean and committed to rehab. The cheeseburgers then, aren’t just a crass product placement, but a nod to a pivotal moment in the actors life that set him on the path to recovery, much like Tony Stark himself. "
Waititi said that the sequel isn’t going to be a “run-of-the-mill” movie and that it is going to up the ante when it comes to the out-of-this-world nature of Thor: Ragnarok. He joked, “It’s like 10-year-olds told us what should be in a movie and we said yes to every single thing.” Waititi said he won’t have a romantic interest in the sequel because he was “deeply in love and lost that love along the line.” He added, “He doesn’t feel brave enough to find love again.” However, he did tease that we will find out more about the specificities of Krog’s Kronan culture. On top of that, he said that we will see Space Sharks (also known as Starsharks), which appear in the comics.
Watched End Game today with the kids. I don’t know how you land a plane any better than the last hour of that movie
I honestly don't know how they top that in P4+. "On Your Left" to "I Am Ironman" was the crest of a ten-year wave.
my oldest and I have done a ton of rewatches over the past 3 weeks, so today during the battle scene my wife who hasn’t seen any in the theaters said “you know it’s easy to see how cool this was because you’ve got multi hour relationships with all of these people...”
