Not in the Marvel definition. Mutants are born with their powers, Murdock got his through an accident involving radiation.
True but he's still by definition even in Marvel a mutant or a human mutate, similar to Spider-Man. Just a different subclass.
I'm not sure he was classified as anything 40 or so years ago when he was created. The toxic sludge mutated his cells.
Trying to not get my hopes up too high but feels like they’re being a bit more deliberate than usual about the advertising. Gonna try to avoid any more promos.
Stopped reading the plot summary here. I'm in! In fact, this is all I really care about seeing now. Karen Page, the former secretary of the Nelson & Murdock law offices and girlfriend of Matt Murdock, had left years earlier to pursue an acting career. After a brief period of success, she became a heroin addict and was reduced to starring in pornographic films in Mexico.
Darkness only responds to darkness. Evil cant be stopped and has to be eradicated. Basically he's going all Punisher. Plus it contrasts with Kingpin's white suit. No one is sure how they're gonna do or rework that part of the story.
Hahahaha I’d be beyond shocked if they go that route but the overall broad plot of Kingpin driving Matt insane I think will be the jam.
I hate Karen's character, and I hope they kill her off. You were friends with an investigative journalist at one of the most well known newspapers in the world and he died? Ok, Miss Paralegal with absolutely no journalistic background whatsoever, would you like his job now?
Stayed up way too long binging through the end of the season last night. For all the "Iron Fist S2 was a lot better" stuff, there's no comparison. This show is just so much better. Only complaints are I think they could easily cut 3 episodes, and also that Karen Page is stupid.
This was by far my favorite Marvel Netflix season. The only negative to me was the Karen backstory nonsense. Hope this gets a 4th season.
I'm only on ep 5 ( reading spoilers doesn't bother me ), but prison fight was pure terror, in the best way.
well, that was pretty good. like many, didn't care about the Karen stuff. Spoiler so who will Dex become?
Just finished. Overall really liked it. Loved every second Kingpin was on the screen. Really wish he'd get a chance to be in a spiderman movie. Really liked all the fight scenes except the final one, which Im guessing they had to work around D'Ofronio. Looked like he used his double for most of that. The Karen stuff wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Really hope it gets picked up for a 4th season although a few sites are saying it might not due to some similar metrics with IF and LC. Spoiler Bullseye, In the comics the same Dr is the one who infused Wolverine with adamantium.
Just finished it up (binged it last night and this morning as the wife is out of town). Fantastic. Kingpin is a top tier Marvel villain
On E8 It’s like they’re trying to do TDK and it’s a damn good spin on it And fuck yeah at the ending reveal
I binged about half the series last night lmao Spoiler season ending secondary villain undergoing surgery to hint at becoming full top billed villain is the new single take hallway fight
absolutely loved this season. these Netflix shows are as good as the villains allow them to be and D’Onofrio was born to play Kingpin.
Spoiler That prison riot and the final 3 way fight were fannnnnnnnntastic. This is the best season yet and season 1 was incredible.
Bullseye can be hard to pull off I feel like, but they did an awesome job with him. 100x better than the Colin Farrell version.
