the first mission I lost a bunch of people, I had my ship upgraded fully I just sent the wrong people on the missions. The way that the game decides who lives and dies is fucking retarded though. Garrus was a team leader on Omega and every fucking person under his command died, but for some reason he's one of the people that you have to have lead teams if you want people to live. Miranda was bred to be a supreme biotic, but apparently isn't good enough to make a bubble and keep locusts away from you. Thane is an alien stealth assassin, but apparently can't walk through a fucking vent without dying.
1) Garrus 2) Grunt 3) Mordin 4) Legion 5) Thane 6) Miranda 7) Tali 8) Jacob 9) Samara 10) Kasumi 11) Zaeed
Damn, why no love for Zaeed? I'm a pretty big fan of Zaeed, he's handy with the steel if ya know what I mean.
for every playthrough I do I pick Samara for the biotic shield, Jacob to lead the people back to the ship, Tali to do the tech (she's a techie, made sense), and Garrus to lead the team. I rolled with Jack and Grunt to beat the collectors You have to do every fucking upgrade. What I did was spend like two days mining and then bought any and every upgrade I could. Weapons, Armor, Biotic, Tech, everything.
I think I most enjoyed Legion's loyalty mission. The choice to wipe out all the Geth or to just cure them or whatever was a tough decision and one I think is going to weigh heavily in the next game. Throughout the entire mission I was trying to decide what to do and even when the time came I had to sit there for a minute before made the choice. That was probably my favorite mission.
It's a pretty dumb upgrade, It was like 50K of whatever element for something that will just get taken care of anyways. 1. Bitches loves scars 2. If you go Paragon, those fuckers go away anyways. 3. Colossal waste of elements, who the fuck wants to waste more time than needed mining planets. That shit sucked
50000 platinum i think it was imo platinum is the most important resource in the game so fuck that shit
I'm more pissed about the final mission gayness than ship upgrades. The arbitrary dying in the final mission was horseshit
yeah but you can justify every one of the ones you had issues with it to be honest. Garrus's team died because they were betrayed. Also, they had to lure Garrus away from them in order to kill his team. Nothing he could really do about that. Miranda is a really good biotic, but you could definitely say both Jack and Samara are better. Jack spent her whole childhood getting tests run on her to improve her biotics, and it talks about how she had the highest biotic potential they had ever seen in humans. And Samara is an Asari, which they say multiple times have stronger biotic powers than humans in general. It doesn't mean Miranda is a shitty biotic, but she's not as good as the other two. Thane isn't very good with tech, which is the whole reason you sent someone into the vent in the first place.
lol yes it does. A ninja assassin would be totally out of his element hacking a door, even though that's a huge part of what that job would entail. I doubt that he ever went to assassinate someone only to be foiled by someone locking themselves in a room.
Well, now you're just being obtuse I don't really even understand this phrase, I just wanted to use it.
I'm not acute, a right angle, or a straight line seriously though, that's a valid point with thane going through the vent. Also I'm pretty sure that the collectors have a slightly more formidable force than a couple of gangs on Omega, and if the Omega gangs can kill Garrus' team I'm pretty sure collectors can as well
that's for sure. I'd say the only one that'd be totally fucked in combat is Tali. I doubt Thane, Grunt or Jack would be very good in a squad though, because Thane operates solo and uses surprise and deception as his main tools and Grunt and Jack would probably be shitty at taking orders. I wish they'd given more clear instructions before the final mission, because all the dossiers you get for making your decision are vague. You pretty much have to do a few playthroughs to figure out how to get them all to live, or read a walkthrough online. I'd rather they give you good enough instructions so that you're more sure about who to send where
why make such a big deal of having everyone survive, if 90% of people are gonna have to go to xboxachievements.com to see how to do it without wasting 7 hours of your day. I remember the first time I ever did it I read every dossier and was making decisions based off of that, and fucking like 3 people died the in the first part of the mission
Can't believe you tards lost someone on the mission. It was clear as day who you should send to do what.
I lost Thane the first time. That image still haunts me. I remember yelling at the tv afterwards... "TAKE JACOB DAMMIT TAKE JACOB" Thought he could handle leading the team back. I done goofed.
yea first time through i picked thane to lead the 2nd squad thought having his loyalty and being nice to him was enough i yelled WHAT THE FUCK but thats what makes it awesome, going through with no casualties is boring and as long as garrus lives im ok
lol irush whines about a med bay upgrade that doesn't affect shit, but wants to shoot me for being right
I had Legion in the tunnel, Tali hack the door, Samarra do the shield, Miranda lead the team back and had Garrus and Wrex with me
