It actually has and basically said the first two clauses don't mean shit. See District of Columbia v. Heller. From the syllabus: "The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. The Amendment’s prefatory clause announces a purpose, but does not limit or expand the scope of the second part, the operative clause. The operative clause’s text and history demonstrate that it connotes an individual right to keep and bear arms." I'd say that New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen related to concealed carry will be an important decision coming up, but that outcome is already written on the wall.
You can see this high school from the Iowa Capitol building, so I have faith governor Reynolds and the state legislature will find time in their busy schedules full of humiliating trans 16 year olds and take swift actions to prevent more senseless loss of lif... ...find another way to ensure more guns flow into the state.
Totally normal country we have here: “After the shooting, Des Moines Police detectives carried out five residential search warrants and six vehicle search warrants and recovered six firearms, police said in a news release. Six Des Moines residents between the ages of 14 and 17 have been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder, according to police.”
We are truly out of the pandemic. Time to start fucking shooting up schools again. This fucking country.
Jesus - the police chief reporting at least 2 dead and 20 injured. https://www.kark.com/crime/asp-at-least-10-shot-outside-event-in-dumas/
All the movement for virtually non-existent CRT but this is the best that can be done for school shootings
I think the video is just coincidental. Those gunshots sounded well up/down the block from that fight and may not have involved anyone in the video.
Why is it that the Blue Lives Matter people are generally 2nd amendment supporters? Isn’t their job both easier and safer if there are fewer guns in circulation?
i've asked this question for a decade on here including to many literal cops who never had an answer and the only conclusions i can draw are very very dark
They have fantasies of being a good guy with a gun when in reality 99% of them will run during a crisis and are more likely to hurt or kill themselves or a love one with the gun.
Way back in the day when my wife and I did a 1 year stint in Sacramento they have an event every month called “second Saturday art walk” in this same area and we went to our first one we were at a pub and same shit happened……some gangsters did a drive by in a crowded area and hit 3 people killed 1 who had zero involvement in anything, I think the kid who died was a student Sac St
Those same people wouldn't think twice about killing a cop or soldier. Their relationship with the police is a matter of convenience/impunity until the cops come knocking on their door There's no consistency at all with their logic
I’ve been phasing out my phones for the first 45 minutes of the day. Every morning I wake up I check news, email, etc. over the last few weeks I just hit the alarm and go for walk or something for 30 minutes to clear my head before I dive in. It’s been nice
"Did Joe Biden order an Islamic MS-13 gang of illegal immigrants to attack a subway station to distract from his groomer trans pedophilia agenda? I'm only asking the question."
I've seen two reporters say that police don't believe it is traditional terrorism - the fuck does that mean? White guy?
Yes And thanks to our boys in blue for quickly apprehending the suspect. Oh, he's still on the loose?
It means they don’t know the motive and nothing indicates it’s politically motivated which is what terrorism is. Suspect is a black male fwiw. The Chuds rejoice.
I hadn't seen that yet - literally all I thought they had was his outfit so far and approximately 5'5 170
