Shooting at a Highland Park, IL parade. Reports he was perched in top of a restaurant. For context, this area is affluent and historically Jewish. Sickening
Sometimes I feel like we need a button that says "I agree with the sentiment of this post but I don't 'like' anything about what's being discussed.
I know this is being sarcastic, but it’s pretty fucking obvious what type of gun is used in these murders.
god wouldn’t have put the second amendment in the constitution if we weren’t supposed to celebrate events like this
Google Maps' new active shooter feature has been a game-changer for saving commuting time by finding alternative routes.
Not crazy far apart, but Antioch and Highland Park are very different. North Shore from Evanston up to Lake Forest (Highland Park included) is crazy expensive/nice. Incredibly sad no matter the area.
Yes I’m not in the city right now, but Highland Park is very far from my area. Thank you for checking in.
I don’t think Chicago people would consider them close. 45 min apart depending on traffic. That’s probably not considered far in other areas. And yes very sad regardless of the area
I'm sure he doesn't have an established online presence that would've let any authorities that surely aren't asleep at the wheel prevent this
Took my kids to DC today through Thursday for the 4th and a little getaway. I’d be lying if I said this didn’t put me a little on edge.
Not sure if it is related to the shooter’s motive or not, but in April on Yom HaShoah, aka Holocaust Remembrance Day, some residents of Highland Park had leaflets of antisemitic propaganda left in their driveways.
Yeah our kids do active shooter drills at school. Glad to have them prepared, but the fact they even have to do it is beyond tucked up
Not a mass shooting but literally just watched a car shoot at another car in front of my house. Sounded like fireworks at first and then it didn’t.
