I approve this new thread title
Ah yes, the Goose Creek Publix
A fine place to have a civil debate
OP’s logic is flawed. The debaters want to be looked at and this thread isolates them from potential attention.
honestly though this is second only to the double scroll bar in terms of dumb ideas
This is a good point. Likes from fawning posters on either side help fuel the debaters. Maybe we should advertise:
*THURSDAY NIGHT — dblplay1212 vs Arkadin
The showdown of showdowns
Hard pass. He can't debate without throwing out personal insults. Within 3 posts he'd bring up me using the N word one time 10 years ago. That's not debating, that's being a child.
Own your past actions
I have, repeatedly.
I wore shorts on an airplane today. AMA
Were they cargo shorts?
How else would he have smuggled all of that skyline chili?
Any time dbl has more than 3 posts in 15 minutes, every subsequent post should just automatically go here for a few hours
dblplay1212 what are the odds this whole Epstein case is really about telling yo mama jokes in the shower?
I love how my words have been twisted over the years. Happens so much too.
you not liking sunsets is still my fave dbl-ism
I never said I didn't like sunsets.
Yeah...I know. it was an extrapolation from the thread where you wanted the Rose Bowl moved off of NYD
I didn't even say it had to move off NYD, just change time slots by a few hours. But no, SUNSETS!!!
I like to cut my sandwiches in half. Fight me
Where is your nearest Publix?
An easier solution is just to ban dbl
There you are with your hatred of sunsets again.
Michigan seems to not really care for the Rose Bowl sunset either.
Love them too much. Every time we go, we’re distracted by the beauty.
So distracted you haven't found your way back in over a decade. Even Alabama has been more recently.
It’s a dysfunctional relationship. It’s for the best to take this time apart.
You're never gonna be able to ban dbl. Do you know how many dbls are already on the streets??
I'd love to see a thread that listed every dbl-ism over the years. I'd like to see how they have evolved into folk lore.
I’m like 80% sure such a thread exists. Will try and locate later
Edit: Its been archived but...
Like 80% of those have been completely changed from what I actually said.
the only one on there I remember clear as day is the punt return one from the McCaffrey vs. Henry Heisman thread
I don't even remember what I said. I know there was some dumb shit about "total yards" that people were using bc it inflated McCaffrey's numbers by using punts and kickoffs.
Or, you know, showed his value overall as a football player. Kind of what the Heisman purports to be about.
pop the tapes in bro
Punt return yards are not equal to rushing yards.
Probably more valuable.
4 years later and people still want to argue when I was clearly right. Shaking my head.
Each one looks like 3 feet to me, they are quite literally equal
A good punt returner flips field position. But more importantly, punt return yards are clearly a better indicator of individual athletic ability than rushing yards.
This is twice today that you have made yourself look really dumb just to attempt to argue with me.
Andre Roberts > Zeke Elliot
You're arguing that given various contexts, a yard is not three feet in length? Yeah, I'm the dumb looking one here
I never said a yard was not 3 feet. Stop making things up.
Rushing yards are more difficult to obtain than PR and KR yards. That's not up for debate. I could average 10 yards per kick return.
It really is weird how obsessed some on this board are with me. They'll make themselves look like a fucking idiot just to argue with me. Doesn't matter what I say, they'll go the other way.
