I always enjoy when a poster includes “Coach” in the coaches name or initials. Not only does it clarify that they are specifically referring to the person who is a coach of their favorite team and not some other person of the same name or initials but most importantly it also it lets me know that I can stop taking their opinion seriously.
I don't think Baylor should have an athletics program so I've very happy to see the one good thing in the sport they care about the most be ripped away from them. I'm suddenly conflicted, because Liberty is a fucking awful place and I wish the worst for them as well. can we have this happen but make Hugh Freeze be terrible so Baylor suffers as well?

This is going to be a weird take but despite thinking joe Brady could/will be a fantastic NFL coordinator I’m not so sure about him for us at this point. Just don’t think he’s the best guy to handle Newton, especially with a new college staff. I know probably a bad take and maybe the team has decided to move on from Cam but I can’t see him and JB being successful together.

That's a strange take. From the contract length Rhule was given, as well as investment in the health science lab, I assume ownership is 100% investing into this team. They probably don't mind a down year initially during the transition. Cam isn't the long term option, so who cares about the Brady/Newton dynamic (which is speculative to begin with). Yes I think he will be terrible that’s why I said sign him. Don’t be this deliberately obtuse. I think he will be a good coordinator and he would work well with Cam. Furthermore, Cam won’t be here much longer, if ever again, and Tepper has a long term vision. So I think it’s dumb as hell to worry about his relationship with Cam would play out when deciding whether or not to hire him now.

Has JC Horn been any good? I haven’t paid attention. I know Surtain went right after and he’s been amazing.
All you need to know about Matt Rhule is that he went 0-6 against coaches that got fired this year. And he’s the only coach to miss the playoffs the last 2 years that is still with his team.
The crazy thing to me is the Panthers looked good the first 3 weeks. Defense was dominating, Darnold was managing the game. I guess a schedule of Jets-Texans-Saints with no coaches helps :/
