I loved the old Triple Plays. MLB 11 got a 9.25 according to Game Informer. I have been buying these the last few years and I have loved them.
apparently 2k didnt give sites review copies or something because it is now past release and there are no reviews online. cant take that as a good sign. good thing i have both consoles and will pick up the Show anyway when i get around to it this week.
i dont care for reviews as far as the scores themselves but they typically give really detailed insights into what is actually in the game and gives good general overviews. example: i typically look for a paragraph about Road to the Show mode, and see what the details are. Not necessarily what the reviewer thinks of the mode, but just the details of what is in the mode.
I think I'm gonna end up getting this game Chief because it will be a game I can play with my hand. Also, I just genuinely love baseball and have been craving it for a while now.
I'm with ya. Was at Best Buy today and damn near pulled the trigger. Probably see if I can find it for cheaper than 60 and pick it up in the next week or so.
I've played it. The fielding is awful. You barely have control of the player and they just lob the ball to first base. They need to implement better stadium atmosphere. The crowd sounds so fake and their reactions are so off, not much music and the PA announcer also sounds fake as hell. If I had a PS3 I'd get the show. All that said, I'm a pretty tough gamer to please so take it fwiw.
Love baseball and haven't played a baseball game in a few years. Figured I'd give it a shot... demo didn't seem too bad.
