Just did the White Mamba mission. I agree with others feelings about him. Glad I finally got silenced tranquilizer sniper rifles for Quiet and Snake.
Real talk audrew, you can use the CQC approach. However, this requires you to memorize her sniping spots in order. Bring a shield with you. Or you can go in with the tank approach and just shoot her with missiles once she starts shooting at the tank. Keep in mind though, that she can eventually destroy the tank. Either way gets you the S rank completion
Beat mission 30, the one where you finally meet Skull Face. Took a few tries before I found a way that worked. Was even able to Fulton everyone that was A or better
Took a little break to play through Uncharted 4 and am now trying to finish this up. Just finished mission 43. Seems like maybe you DON'T have to do all the extreme/total stealth missions to keep proceeding, is that accurate? Also, Spoiler mission 43 was creepy, yet super easy. Was weird with the last guy though. You're about to leave with him "healthy", then he says he's not. I put him down, and his neck isn't glowing, but I still have to cap him? Rough...
Just beat mission 45. Is that the end? Or is there more if I beat all the extreme/stealth missions? Spoiler found a "cheat" where you can get Quiet back after you lose her in 45. Apparently you re-do mission 11 seven times and she'll be back

Honestly just don't remember. I can't even tell you the last thing I did. Video games need a system where it compiles a recap video that gets you back up to speed to where you left off. Ala Alan Wake.
Bought a 1TB external just so I could play this game again, just finished lvl 22. Does anyone else have a hard time spending the money to develop unsuppressed weapons? I only want my guy to be total stealth. I really need that suppressed tranq rifle.
SO finally got to these this weekend.... Mission 45 Spoiler I know you guys said you can get her back - but it's implied she killed herself by speaking English right? Also . That firefight with the tanks actually took me a few attempts. I would be doing good until a tank shell out of nowhere would get me. I kept calling in choppers and fire support after a bit, which was actually really fun. Really cool of the game to eventually walk through Quiet's role going back to the hospital scene Mission 46 Spoiler my one issue with MGS games as they continue is they expect you to remember a whole lot of shit in order to understand what the fuck just happened and how it all fits in. I had to read after to remember how Phantom Big Boss fits in to everything. And i probably get that it helps with storytelling, but when i got to this point I just wanted to finish the game, so i was annoyed that i had to complete the entire hospital scene again. That said, it was a very MGS ending.
Never played an MSG game, do you think it would be worth picking up the collection of 1,2,3 on Steam they just released or would it be too dated?
Damn that sucks. Always wanted to play those games but was a n64/gamecube guy and have been purely PC since. Never got mgsV because i assumed you had to know the backstory of previous ones considering I see the guy who is the creative director hangs out with jordan poole and guillermo del toro.
